The PC gaming Thread. Steam/GOG/Origin/Etc. Game/Software/Hardware talk

Duke Nukem Foreverer, a super arcadey arena shooter with cheesey one liners and stupid guns.

You know, like an actual duke nukem game.

What is the best tablet for gaming anyway? I’m looking into buying a tablet for portable reasons and I might as well get 1 that can play some games.

I’d buy that for a dollar!..maybe even 2!

Gettin’ Up is $3.75 for a whole week

I’ve been playing it for a few hours. The feeling you get when you unload a magazine, put bullets into it, slam it into the chamber, and pull the slide is pretty awesome. Just wish I knew how to handle those damn turrets. I know what to do, I’m just not accurate enough to do it.

Has anybody in here played Long Live the Queen? Are there any PC strategy games that you guys recommend (preferably on the lower end PC side)?

So they finally made @kromo : The Game

Vanguard Princess been out for like 3 or 4 years at the least. That entire game is made by one dude. He even did all the spriting himself. Nuts.

VG I bought that game on Amazon downloads for 1 buck.
it wasn’t on Steam at that time.
Controls are stupid. can’t play with the d-pad and have yet to test out if my arcade stick works with it.
sprite work is gorgeous though.

For free none the less.
Probably going to get this one even though it has all the same flaws as the freeware version because of the directors cut DLC.

The EigoManga releases adds nothing to the game. I ain’t paying for a game that was originally freeware without any substantial content added.

You won’t throw $3.74 at an indie fighting game dev? That’s cold man, that’s slightly more than two value items at mcdicks with tax. That’s too steep for you?

Said indie game was originally released as freeware in 2009. EigoManga, the game’s US publisher are charging people for this game and they added nothing to it. No new characters, no netplay, and censored some content. If it’s not different from the freeware version than I’ll just stick with that.

Pretty sure I read the proceeds are going to some charitable cause. Could be wrong though.

Kojima wants to put MGS V on pc, I need to make another tower, maybe round black friday.

So the developer gets paid too anyway. He put all that work into a game that you seem to have enjoyed, why not toss a few bucks his way? It’s not like the publisher is getting ALL of it.

The developer seems to have dropped off the grid since 2011. No one knows what happened to him and EigoManga has been avoiding the topic of royalties.

Loved it, but then again I’m a huge fan of Princess Maker as well.

Basically you decide a queen-regent’s itinerary and weekend events that all go towards her survivability, which is handy because pretty much everything out there is planning to kill you. The story is interesting and the different paths you have to take are pretty divergent (though weird, for example one of the options you have to start learning magic is through learning about… finances…?).

Best advice: save often.

Been lookin at mid tower cases for a few days now. Any of you guys know of a good mid tower with good airflow. ATX Mobo btw.

Gotta be a little more specific, you could get a suggestion that covers those 3 specs and is garbage in everything else.
