The PC gaming Thread. Steam/GOG/Origin/Etc. Game/Software/Hardware talk

Pretty cool, it’s also being done by Interceptor Entertianment(the guys who made Rise of the Triad and Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded.)

This game couldn’t be in better hands, and if you guys play Rise of the Triad 2013(top contender for my 2013 GOTY) you’d see why.

Do we have a LoL thread around here somewhere? I’ve started to try to get into the game.

Mirror’s Edge and Splinter Cell: Conviction (Deluxe Edition) on sale for $5, Guacamole on sale for $3.74, etc.

here’s an text reenactment of me and Sonicabid playing as rangers on Path of Exile

him: "HEY TAKE THESE SHOES AND THIS RING WHAT PART ARE YOU ON LET’S BEAT SIX BOSSES"
me: “uhh…” slowly clicking the inventory to drop extra stuff

-his normal walk speed is faster than when i drink Quicksilver
-i can’t see what’s going on. just hear monsters dying. have to follow the corpses and dropped loot to figure out where he is

him: "YOU GOTTA GET THE GEMS RIGHT DO YOU HAVE ANY ORBS TAKE THIS PORTAL THIS RING GIVES YOU 40 MANA TAKE THIS QUIVER"
me: “uhh…” clicks on portal

-group of monsters try to ambush. he’s killed all of them before my poison arrow even starts doing any damage

him: “OK THIS BOSS IS HARD PORTAL OUT IF YOU GET TOO CLOSE TO DYING”

-first attack boss throws hits me. have to portal out. portal right back in boss is at 1hp. dies.
-i gain 2 levels.

Looks a little mashy, but playing Shank 2 triggered some nostalgia for scrolling beat-em-ups.

Was about to nab the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Elite Echelon Edition off Steam…then noticed that it was not reflecting the weekend sale discount. I’ll go back and add them separately.

I got Kingdoms of Amalur on PS3.
I enjoyed it…but it had its share of glitches.

If the PC version is less glitchty…I might double dip.

Still hoping for a follow up to this game.

I put a few hours into Kingdom of Amalur. The game feels like an unfinished MMO to me. I put the game on hard and it’s been a cakewalk so far. I’ve on died once the entire time I played. The combat is fun and there’s a ton to do. Can’t ask for more than that out of a WRPG

I find it humorous how AMD fans get overly defensive over their brand-loyalty, yet they still play on an Athalon XP and a Raedon 8500 :lame:

 Well, to be fair, your character was pretty high level for where he was so I wanted to get you through the rest of Act 2 as quick as possible.

I’ve finally gotten bored with Civilization V. Is there another turn-based strategy game like Civ V I can play thats good (preferably a 4X game)?

Best King’s Quest.

Any of you try Might and Magic 10 yet?

NOt yet but I’m interested.

I picked up metal slug, no-brainer purchase imo, can’t wait for it to unlock.

The other guy who owns it on my list has 0.8 hours logged, steam bug, or communist conspiracy? You decide.

^ Check this shit out, guys.

I got a Tri Hadouken with a boomerang effect, Geese Howard TRIPLE Reppuken, a Divekick, my character can wave dash, 2X Install Supers, a 1-frame jab that hits 80X per minute effectively keeping most enemies I fight in hitstun forever with a Diablo 2 Barbarian Whirlwind skill to top it all off. That’s not even 1/30th of the crazy shit you can do in this game, and I can swap these shenanigans out for other shenanigans at any time. :coffee:

The best part? The game is faster than Hyper Fighting on 5-stars or any Marvel game.

Edit: If you guys do decide to start playing, I’ll toss you good low-level items to help you get started like I did with @ShaftAgent

[details=Spoiler]Interstellar Marines- Spearhead Edition: 42NCV-47QTW-0CEJQ
[/details]
Just activate it on Steam, still feel a bit mad, if i consider that i paid 10 bucks for this on Steam, now they sell it in a bundle.

Got it, thanks. Ultimate Lurk Mode, I saw your post at “less than a minute ago.” I Googled the game first to see if it was a type of game I like, and I read this:

“Interstellar Marines is a science fiction** first-person shooter**”

I redeemed the code the second I read the bolded part.
