Bad smash clone with characters that look like they arenât even supposed to be in the same game, and with animations that look like theyâre skipping 20 frames.
Fury X reviews are out. Looks like itâs basically equal to 980ti. A little worse under 4k, a little better at 4k. Either way, looks good for the future of hbm.
This batman thing is totally fascinating me. Is straight up missing features like ambient occlusion!
I donât like his reasons, but I do agree that the VR feature feels more like a fad than anything else.
Having used Oct Rift at a game show during SxSW for Hawken and Elite Dangerous, and even had worked for a 3rd party dev team from Namco who wanted to create a crappy game for it, everyone I knew felt like it was just a gimmick and nothing more. Sure, itâs good for medical purposes and porn, but for entertainment⌠no.
I used it, and loved it. It handles 3 dimensional moving well (something Kinect didnât do), the response on the Rift itself is great (no lag), and with added controls, I can easily see myself playing a ton of games this way.
What worries me is having FPS games still rely on mouse/keyboard or thumbsticks for aiming weapons.
My suspicion is there is an overwhelming amount of manufactured outrage. People who donât actually have or have played the game, just hoping aboard the hate train.
Spector: âwhat if someone comes up behind you in your home and hits your head with a baseball batâ
this guy clearly copy/pasted his inspiration behind Deus Ex, what kind of moron would even think thatâs a good reason to belittle technology. âduurrrrrr what if someone rapes you while your playing a game durrrâ confirmed, Warren Spector sleeps with his eyes open
