Yo these fucking publishers ACTUALLY hate that PC is still a thing holy shit.
Darkest Dungeon EA is something I am completely satisfied with, people should be very careful with EA games but not rule it out entirely imo. It allows smaller indie developers to take on bigger projects by getting feedback and income throughout the process. Won’t deny that there’s some scummy devs out there, though.
HOLY FUCK PILLARS OF ETERNITY, FIX YOUR FUCKIN GAME!!
Didn’t play for a bit to wait for bug fixes. A new patch came out last week, I still get long as fuck load times and various bugs. Apparently, the upcoming expansion is gonna fix all that AND finally add a proper Auto Attack for the AI. Like, holy fuckin’ shit, I understand the AI was bad for these games, but the PoE auto attack system is complete ass!! Having two archers sit on their ass while everyone else does everything is so annoying. Why must I pause for EVERY FUCKIN TIME I KILL A MOB!!!
Fuck it, I’ll just wait for the expansion.
I wanted to finish Divinity Original Sin, but that game IS also getting an expansion.
Thing is, their expansion will also be heading over to PS4 and Xbone, which is kinda cool. Their adding a lot more than I thought there would (like actually adding a main story quest and actually making it interesting. Even they admit their main quest line was shit), among various gameplay changes. Those who currently own D:OS gets the expo for free.
Man… now I don’t know what to play.
I should have picked up Darkest Dungeon during the sale.
I have an nvidia card. The only issues I have with the game so far is the frame rate is inconsistent. I can get 60 when I turn off v-snyc but it doesn’t stay there. It’ll drop to 30 when the batmobile is present.
This isn’t the first game I had to change ini files to make work. Had to do the same with Fallout 3 because the game would break because it wasn’t optimized for processors with more than two cores.
Batman games always had a shitty history with PC launches. They ended up being good once the major issues have been fixed though they don’t fix everything. To this day the direct X 11 mode in Arkham City is still broke.
That was what fucked Rage as well. Ironic, considering the game had zero settings when it launched, because it could supposedly detect your pc parts, and auto configure itself.
I had to edit the fuck out of Ark, but at least that is still early access, so that sorta makes sense. And apparently NVIDIA has to give them access to resources.
Also, the video I linked above is footage rock, paper, shotgun took of the pc version. I seriously though it was my 4g connection… But no it’s just that bad.
