to me wolfenstein the new order, is ugly as fuck, but it is WAAAY better than what i thought it was going to be. surprised there is no cheese factor, or very little cheese in this iteration.
only bought 3 games on the steam sale right now. wolfenstein the new order, child of light, and the vanishing of ethan carter. will definitely pick up sunset and D4 though.
Yeah I havenāt bought much this steam sale⦠Combination of a lack of funds, and most of the stuff on sale either doesnāt interest me, or I bought it last steam sale.
looking at the cross platform list there are so many great games that are making it over to PC. lots of buying happening this year, and Iāll most definitely be playing
Like⦠one of the games I wanted to work on (after I grind through a bunch of shitty shovelware-tier bullshit over the next n-years) was an isometric arpg that is focused on dinos.
This steam sale there has been a dino game discounted EVERYFUCKINGDAY!!! WTF devs stealing my idea 6 years in advance???
I wanted to get ARK but I decided to pre orded MGS instead because I heard the fps is bad in that game. I will be tempted to use its native Rift compatibility but people online have said you get between 10-15 fps on the BEST GPU LOL they need to optimize the fuck out of that game; hopefully its just because its heavily integrated with dx12 and somehow once we all get dx12 the fps will shoot from high 40ās in standard mode to 150+ ā¦Lol
about cross play/platform: I just meant cross platform not cross play. im looking at ghost recon, for honour, dark souls 3, the division, rainbow six, Doom, AC syndicate, battlefront, sfV, cuphead, deus ex, killer instinct and theres more. sooooo many games
just finished a session of wolfenstein new order- really entertaining. though I have a feeling the masked āNaziāsā weāre annihilating are actually non aryan slaves Lol
That is usually the case. The most popular games of the sale usually end up on the encore. Alien might show up again as a flash sale. Itās happened a few times already.
Missed this earlier, I have that game. They added a quick level option that will show you what you can make that will be stronger than your current spells.
At 5 bucks Iād say get it, the combat system is pretty cool, albeit a bit too straightforward. A little more variety in HOW you cast spells would have been cool. Itās basically a corridor shooter.
Ark is fucking incredible, but u aināt running it on high or epic settings, at all. I drop to like 20fps when I try. Itās because itās using the new unreal engine and optimization isnāt done yet. I think NVIDIA just gave them access to resources recently.
Itās early access for a reason, but paying 20 bucks for a game Iām loving on low/mid settings, without even having touched multilayer yet, is fine. Iād rather pay 20 now and see how this gets better (and be able to play it now) then pay full price later on.
Game has a great challenge to it, the building isnāt difficult or time consuming like Minecraft, the various factors to your survival are interesting (weather, temperature, things that want to eat you, starvation, dehydration, etc), resource gathering is easy, yet requires some thought.
Only issues I have is the optimization (this game is still really new, and being worked on), and the Dino AI seems lame at times (enemies that hate sunlight will stop literally at cave entrances, and lots of Dinoās just casually walk around doing nothing.
Also you occasionally poop, and you can pick it up.
Pillars looks like it isnāt hitting 50% this sale, it seems?
This sale is neat and all, but man⦠I actually didnāt spend any money this time around.
I guess I didnāt want my current backlog to continue filling up. Ori the Blind Forest Iād pick up, but I feel once I got time for that game, itāll be in the next sale and cheaper.
This steam sale I bought a bunch of the indie 2d platformers, but I created quite a backlog for myself. I powered and got all achievements for Adventure of Pip this week, It was pretty fun, but not that hard. I took a break from being punished by Castle in the Darkness to finish that game.
