The PC gaming Thread. Steam/GOG/Origin/Etc. Game/Software/Hardware talk

Supposedly the new patch has helped some users with their issues, I just haven’t cared enough to check.

Someone actually bought that 20 dollar key for me, so I shouldn’t be begging for refunds lol.

Well, my most immediate checking on MKX on PC after the recent patch, majority of the stuttering that happened on some character intros is now gone (YAY).
I have yet to fight on the Sky Temple stage yet to see if that mess is stable. People with rigs bigger than mines had trouble with that stage for whatever reason. Shitty optimizations, haha.

And even after playing the game a few times, this time the MKX.exe process goes away normally (unlike before, where it’d stay on for some STUPID reason).
Plus they added a few other things from the console patches (like fixing the Ermac meter glitches, giving characters certain new attacks).

I think I have only bought 1 or 2 stinkers on steam, most of the games I have bought have been good purchases. I am glad that they have this policy for a refund though because sometimes they have old PC games that require the guidebooks from those games to work, and they never bothered to program those stupid features out when they ported the game to newer versions of Windows or they flat out don’t work at all or constantly crash.

Big ass sale on gog.com currently.

I picked up Vampires the Masquerade and it only works on like OLD ass windows or some shit. A few other games I got that the servers aren’t around anymore.

They haven’t refused my Evolve request yet. Got an email today saying they are reviewing it.

The several grand I have put into Steam better remind em to refund me, here.

Does GoG have flash sales? Now that I got me a GoG account cause of witcher, I wanna buy Baldurs Gate 2 again.

I picked up BG2 on sale on Steam, last summer sale.

Yeah but it’s the HD version. Already picked it up. GoG is the original version.

This refund policy in the PC video game market can have the affect of actually stopping this industry from releasing shitty products.

Which companies will have their grave dug by the consumers? For some, it’ll be a matter of time.

Religious reasons…and before the refund policy.

Bioshock infinite was kind of mediocre. In terms of actual gameplay at least. Story is kind of hit or miss.

Yea they could have chosen the “Fuck Off” option, but it was honestly a kind thing for them to do.

Jesus has his own plans following the resurrection.

i see the steam controller available for pre order on steam.

actually kinda hyped, tired of using software to get my ps4 controller to work.

interesting.

Do you mind doing a review for the controller if you get it? I was wondering if it was going to be a good purchase or not.

Fuck I got denied on my request for a refund for Evolve.

See you this Summer Steam Sale, when I buy and refund every fucking game you offer me, dickheads.

I was denied, but I was like “plllleeeeassseee! Make this one time exception!!! (sad faces)”

no reply since.

My budget is $1100~ or so most have free shipping but still checking if they apply to hawaii. Fuck hawaii. Gonna post in the black friday thread too.

Great build for the budget. For quality of life, I like my big ssd, but using a 120 as a boot drive will be good. I also have an 840, it’s nice.

When do you plan to buy? AMD is supposed to be announcing new stuff soon, and even if you don’t want AMD, it should force NVIDIA prices down.

Wait what the hell just happened. I MADE THAT POST 8 MONTHS AGO
