There’s a ton of Sega games on special on Steam at the moment
Rofl, a competitive CS:GO match was grieved by some dickhead playing Arabic nasheeds at 80 decibels.
Anyone play pillars yet? Interested to hear a non-review take on it.
Really interesting so far. I’m not sure how your decisions you make in the game will impact the story later, but they make a huge differences at the start (parties members getting killed off if you choice the wrong things).
Though, I’ve only got an hour into the game and skipped most of character creation.
Gameplay is neat, and you can adjust battle speeds mid-game. Kinda cool, but I feel the default speed is a nice pace.
However, even for an hour of gameplay… WTF @ THE BUGS!!!
I ran into an audio bug where it made a “page tear” sound fx over and over and over again like a clock. You have to disable the tutorial tip tool and re-load your file to get ride of it. Sometimes when making a character, clicking on the voice won’t have said voice come out. Friends have been reporting corrupted data bugs. I dunno… I dunno!
Hey Boom,
I won’t be home tonight until probably 2-5 a.m. EST. If I get home and you guys are still on and I’m not in a stupor, I’ll play.
Ubiart is one of the best game engines I’ve seen. Back growing up in the 80s with NES, and later in the 90s with SNES, ubiart seems like a gorgeous natural evolution of the hand drawn sprites that dominated that early bygone era. Like a beautiful painting come to life, the opposite of the trend of hyper realism that many games tend to gravitate towards.
Child of Light, Rayman, Valiant Hearts are all impressive games as a whole, but a big part of their charm is how they look.
RE5 finally got ported to Steamworks (as if anybody was clamoring for it).
But to no surprise, anybody who owns Resident Evil 5 in their Steam library will have to download and apply a 7GB patch. Lol, this shit is near DR3 levels of badness with the 13GB patch. smgdh.
are you guys playing vs or campaign for LFD2?
im outi
Roberth
sorry ya’ll, change of plans. gonna be out and won’t be online. next fri. for sure tho
@HeaT we play vs. link your profile and i’ll invite you next time.
Did anyone pick up Cities:Skylines? Its a pretty fun SimCity4 clone of sorts.
French developers have their own unique approach to visual arts in general
Looking forward to this game as well from this French indie studio!
Prob gonna be practicing for a Brawlhalla tournament tomorrow.
Also for anyone that got into Duelyst or is curious, there’s a good balance analysis here. If nobody’s interested in the game I’ll just stop posting about it, if that’s what people want.
New DLC character came out for Killer Instinct, and they uber buffed my main, so I’m gonna be drinking tonight and playing KI, sorry. Im free the rest of the weekend though, if you’re still down.
I’ve literally never played it, and only played the first level of LFD1, barely, so don’t expect wonders from me (i’ll be the dumbass setting off car alarms and shit by accident).
Yeah, I picked this up last weekend, been splitting my time between it, and Evolve.
I’m down. Going to my dad’s house and I’ll probably be back about 10PM Central time.
I also bought Dark Souls today. Not sure how the multiplayer works yet, but I got it and I’m headed to GameStop now to get me a DualShock 4.

At home (got fucking pulled over by a cop. No ticket.) And I can play whatever. Gonna try to get this DS4 working with my bluetooth adapter.
Also Humble is holding a sale for 2K Games, Sega and Bethesda
Green Man is also having a sale with Bethesda and Rockstar titles.
Cool…hopefully I’ll be rid of the jet lag by then.
How did games go last night? I didn’t get home until 6 a.m. By that point I was exhausted and couldn’t play. Tonight I’m planning to stay home so if any games happen just give a shout.
