Apparently you can customise some (all?) of the calls in the game. In fact, one of the alternatives to “everyone” is “all the shawties in the house!”
It’s got top notch audio at least; great voice acting and music. And I imagine the fights get intense quickly as you try to give everyone orders as fast as you can.
I’ve been gaming on PC for 5 years now but I only started buying games legit during the 2014 Summer Steam Sale. As of today though I have now gone back and bought legit copies of every guy I ever pirated. At a very good discount on a lot of them of course but at least my conscience is clear (not that it ever wasn’t in the first place).
My only gripe with Toxikk right now is the weapon balance. When you take the lead, it’s hard to take that down, but at the same time it’s so easy to get random out. It’s odd, but it’s a fun game so far from the default map. The new map sucks and is buggy.
Yeah it’s fun and has all of that. A problem the video author pointed out to me when I tried it while visiting was that the 100 health and 100 armor are too close to each other. They aren’t if you take the normal route, but the jumps off the awning he’s doing to get to the mega-armor makes it a simple run around the corner to get from one to the other. Of course I don’t have the mechanical dexterity for these games and failed all my attempts to make the jumps required, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t an issue.
Rockets got nerfed last I heard, but a lot of weapons are still really strong. The flamethrower thing will kill in one full charge, unless you have both megas I think? Also has a regular flamethrower kind of DoT spray mode. The shotgun is also really powerful up close, which isn’t hard to accomplish. The beam rifle thing gets like 30 off a normal hit and 120 off a headshot, I think he said. Sniper lacks the pulse rifle mode of the beam gun, but does more on a headshot I’m pretty sure. The grenades on that assault rifle are also really strong.
I don’t remember him complaining too much about the weapon balance, I’ve seen him wax fools with pretty much all of the weapons. Really just the short distance between the megas, was his biggest issue with the current playable map. I’m also not sure if all the options are in the menus yet, last I tried it the only way to disable mouse smoothing was through some console shenanigans. So it’s still really early.
Just pulled an awesome card I’ve been wanting to add to my deck in Duelyst. I can see why people pay money for MTG cards now. Only I’m not paying a dime. These games got that good ass racket goin on, I gotta be careful once they monetize this.
I don’t know to simply just buy RE: Revelations 2 on Steam and record Let’s Play’s there, or buy the 360 copy for offline co-op (then again I could just buy both). On another note, I could record gameplay with Visual Boy Advance.
Also if we’re talking L4D2, my ID is r3dath3na / redathena if anyone wants to add me. It’d be nice to play with people I kinda know than randoms.
