Diff get a EVGA since i believe they have a great warranty and possible upgrades. Yet a 970 should rock well. Sitting on a 660 and it’s been doing fine. Now that you mention i’m getting that upgrade itch again lol.
I know there’s a lot of hatred aimed at Ubisoft right now for all the bugs and the shitty attitude but I’ve been playing ACU on my friend’s rig (SLI GTX 980) and holy fuck, when that game runs, it RUNS. It is stunningly beautiful.
Wrote a review on Shadows on Steam saying it wasn’t good. Thumbs down and all, devs are trying to take it down for trolling. Wtf. I’ve written way worse reviews, so I dunno.
I just took advantage of the Humble Jumbo Bundle. So if anyone wants a free copy of Insurgency on Steam, let me know. I have three of them still available. Just going to give them away on Steam. Still, the Humble Bundles are pretty great sometimes. And it’s all for a good cause.
I like how you can now choose where your donation goes, with the humble bundle. I don’t know if they have always done this. I got a Humble Bundle once before, and it would only let me move sliders around to give a percentage to each group. Now I get to choose how much goes into each slider.
Just strange, since in the past with other indie devs, I’ve actually said harsh things. This guy, I was just like “this game isn’t anything like you advertised. It’s more like Sacred 3” but calling it Sacred 3 may have pulled a string, who knows.
Reminds me of Project Zombiod when they added a new melee command. I made a topic saying it sucks and the dev is retarded (yeah I was that bold… maybe worse since I didn’t like how the game was turning out. Each update made the game worse). Dev replied back saying “well I think this is fine and YOU’RE the retard!” only to have others jump in and agree with my opinion. I was informed that things did change, but I’ve yet to go back to Project Z, so who knows.
All the more I can say about Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms is that, it’s the very first game I bought on Steam and tried to figure out how to get a refund and even contacted the dev in getting a refund. Sadly, no go, and I didn’t want to bother wasting more than an hour of my time for 24 bucks, so I just gave up and made the review. And thus, the censoring…
The thing is, on his system, I’m 8 hours in and I’ve yet to see a single bug/glitch/problem. I must be incredibly lucky that nobody’s caught me fucking the house pets so far.
This is a damn shame. Indie devs should be taking any and all criticism as constructive and they should try to fix any issues that are brought up. One great example of a good indie game is Rodina. I bought it for a couple bucks because it was basically a poor man’s version of No Man’s Sky. However, the game wouldn’t start for me. I contacted the developer for a fix, and within minutes, I got a reply and was even immediately offered a refund. We talked for the better part of an afternoon trying different methods of getting the game to work, and when it didn’t, I told them to keep the money because of the stellar customer service I’d received.
Total Biscuit been getting performance issues with ACU and the man has a beastly rig. He has SLI’d 980s and can’t properly run the game on Ultra setting.
Once my game will hit the market (which will be, who knows when), I wonder if I’ll be a bitch. But, I think I won’t, cause every time I submit my art work to said person I want to view the project, they’re like “oh wow, that looks good” and I’m like “NO, MOTHA FUCKER!! SOMETHING IS WRONG AND I CAN’T SEE IT! TELL ME WHAT’S WRONG!!! TELL ME!!” so who knows.
I wonder if anyone will gift me a steam card :3 :3 :3
For those that don’t already have them, getting the Dreamcast Collection, Nights, & Sonic Racing Transformed for as low at a dollar is a pretty damn good deal.
I want the shirt, but I don’t have the funds…
I’m also surprised that I only have Racing Transformed out of this entire set.
Also, if Humble Bundle throws out some more games and I buy the bundle right now, do I retroactively get the games that were added post-purchase?
