The single-player campaign is a decent Uncharted-style romp. And unlike FFXIII & Sleeping Dogs DE, it’s a fairly good PC port (no mod support though). Certainly worth $4.
The whole TR franchise is on sale. Although they play nothing like the reboot, I’d recommend TR Anniversary or Lara Croft GoL as superior titles, and both are under $2 a pop.
That card is the best price:performance card on the market ATM I believe.
I wonder what AMD is going to do? From looking at benchmarks that card is right there with AMD’s best, but it’s a lot cheaper. Usually AMD is all about price:performance.
Think I’ll try Blade Symphony & see if it’s worth the discounted purchase.
Free XCOM Enemy Unknown keys are being given out by greenmangaming if you vote in some games awards thing. It’s takes some jumping through hoops (especially if you don’t already have GMG & Playfire accounts), and I’m still waiting for my key a day later, so I dunno if it’d be worth your time.
Playing the new Thief. I can’t get the game to run at a steady frame rate. I average around 40 FPS and it will jump up and down at random points. My system is more than enough to handle this game on high settings so I want to know what’s up.
For one, they’re testing on an i7, so of course you’re gonna have issues getting it to run at 60 FPS consistently.
Two, watching a favorite streamer of mine completed the game at 60 FPS with no issues aside from gameplay bugs that occur during 30 FPS anyways. All the while, streaming in window mode. So it’s possible, just that eurogamer can’t into pc gaming.
And yeah, trying to get Thief running at 60 FPS all the time is like trying to get DayZ to run at 60 FPS all the time. Shit isn’t possible.
So I was at 99 games on steam so for the fun of it I wanted to buy to go over 100. I figured oh hey Humble Bundle. Turns out the one I got though is not steam games.
So here https://www.humblebundle.com/?key=b6NwKf4Zda6BPuDx
Download as you will.
