I loved it. I finished it yesterday. Make sure you play with surround sound or headphones. Don’t let other sounds distract you, it’s an audio feast.

At long last, I’ve ordered all of the parts to my PC. Here’s what I got:

Noctua NH U14S CPU cooler

Combined with the Asus PB 278Q and Ducky keyboard.
I focused on hopefully making a near silent, yet powerful, gaming PC that will last at least a few years without upgrades. I picked the NH U14S CPU cooler because I’ll be doing minimal overclocking, if any. Although I know the 4790 is made for overclocking, I mainly got it for the hell of it. I figured I might as well build a kickass machine if I’m building it myself. Surprisingly, this whole process has been really fun (actually, it is kind of painful paying for all of this because I need to get my credit card to clear the charge first due to the cost). Can’t wait until I get it all up and running. I’m excited to see just how badly it beats my almost 4 year old laptop with its i7 2720 2.2 ghz CPU and quadro 2000M GPU.
If this steam card thing works, cards are essentially going to become worthless, so all you people looking to stack those Steam bucks will be SOL.

Don’t recall this being posted here, but No Man’s Sky is now coming to the PC and not just the PS4.
I like going on Steam and seeing new random interesting games.
Never heard of this before, and it’s only $3.19. Definitely will try it out.
I downloaded the demo, got 5 minutes into it and uninstalled the game.
Gave it a second chance, got 10 minutes in, and uninstalled it once again.
It basically plays like those shitty retro games on NES that you rented as a kid with the cool box art and the colorful images on the back of the case. Upon playing it, you remember all those shitty games and how they fuckin’ pissed you off cause they WASTED YOUR GODDAMN WEEKEND!! Fuck you game! FUCK YOU!! YOU BROUGHT BACK ALL A HATEFUL PASS I WANTED TO FORGET!!!
So yeah, I give the game 0/10 based of the demo. The music sucks too.
At least other “retro” style games tend to push the bar or bring something interesting to the table.
This game is just crap.
I had a little fun with the demo, but yea nothing really stands out. Music definitely sucks.
Wasn’t too challenging either, but dieing sending you back to title screen is kinda dumb. Only remember dieing to pits. Gun guys don’t give you too much time to duck on reaction unless you move slow. Movement feels a little bit off. Some basic enemies I feel take too much hits and slows the flow down.
I’m curious about the rest of the game but will wait for a steam sell. Could be a fun speedrun.
