I’ll wait a few hours to see if Goodguy Amazon price matches $8 Shadow Warrior. Then I can use my free credit from Bing searches to buy it
My credit card weeps this month. Spent over $60 so far (half of that was on DR3 preorder), which would be par for the course on console storefronts, but is abnormally high for me since shifting to PC.
from what i read, people shitted on razer’s build quality, mouse only last a year or 2 WTF. I wouldn’t put too much weight on aggregate reviews since most people dont know wassup
Price is right considering the extra 50 bucks, but Razer products are known for breaking down. I’d prefer a Logitech or a Steel Series product over Razer. I use a simple Logitech G400, not very high end but it’s lasted me 3+ years now and counting, a lot more than I can say for any Razer product. Simple, not too expensive and very reliable, it’s been out forever but still gets use today. I could recommend any of Logitech’s higher end products with confidence as well.
I won’t ever go back to Razer after how quickly that 360 controller they put out broke down. Their products always look and feel great, but are far from reliable.
That is my exact experience with all 6 of my Razer mice. Their build quality is horrendous, dating back to their Diamondback/Copperhead series days. They are overpriced, and not at all worth the money at full price. Having said that, I’m sure that particular mouse will be good enough to play all the Steam games you can get for $50 for a year (assuming you actually use Steam enough that a $50 voucher will benefit you). It effectively makes it a $20 mouse, which is around what I feel that their input device products are actually worth anyway.
If you have friends to come over and locally play it, the game is really fucking fun and a riot to boot. It’s really god damn silly but has a lot of strategy in it. Sword footsies!
one of the mods here on SRK was the lead combat designer. I can’t recall who, though
so far I have picked up:
7 Days to Die
Awesomenauts
Borderlands 2 GOTY
FTL
ORION: Dino Horde
Project Zomboid
Skullgirls
Surgeon Simulator 2013
Titan Quest with DLC
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
spent just under 60 so far
FYI I have a Razer Ouroboros and I fucking love it. The way it moves, the way it feels, the way it is customizable, the fact I have dropped it like 1000 times with no damage. The ONLY problem I have with it, is that it is designed for ambidextrous use, so the two buttons on the left/right side do the same shit as their opposite counterparts (they count as mouse button 4 and 5, on both sides, so if u modify what MB4 does, it does it to both MB4 buttons).
That deathadder is a bad price. It’s a half decent mouse, but you’re paying for the Razer name. You could get a similar or better gaming mouse for half the price, if that…or you could invest another 40-50 bucks, and get an Ouroboros or a RAT gaming mouse.
fine isn’t good enough for me. I have high demands. My mouse and keyboard must be able to handle quite the beating.
Where you around in D3 when my keyboard was capitalizing all my D’s?
anywho, I am tempted to get Shadow Warrior for 9 bucks. But damn, I kinda would rather carry on the tradition of never paying for Shadow Warrior (how I miss downloading 20 disks worth of zip files from a BBS), and just torrenting it and putting 9 bucks to something with some replay value.
thanks, i’m gonna pass then. still got 200+ games I haven’t played. im not much of a pc gamer yet. i would just be using the gaming mouse for cs and l4d
