I’m not liking how carries and physicals are the only heroes that can do damage in this game. Mages are pretty shit right now as soon as it hits mid and late game. You can build full damage against a carry who has absolutely no defensive items, hit him with your entire kit + ultimate and not even get 50% of his life while he two shots you in seconds. Or a Grux dives you and theres literally nothing you can do to not die, there’s no way to out play him because you do peanuts to him. Mages are in serious need of scaling buffs right now.

I’m not overly concerned since it is still in the Alpha stage, but they’ve got a lot fixing to do and it needs to start w/ mobility. They clearly went overboard when designing a lot of the melee kits.

grux is SS tier right now so getting stomped by him is sorta expected lol. he is unfuckwitable without the whole team CCing and focusing him and that passive is definitely getting nerfed.

he’s easier to handle once you have some of the better cards like stasis or blink, or you could even try something like bruiser gideon/murdoch with the right cards.

epic does plan to let you directly buy specific cards instead of praying they show up in your card packs.

I’m gonna main Twinblast for the time being - I love his versatility and the creative ways to take advantage of his skillset. Murdoch and Sparrow are dope too, just not as fun.

Folks on the Epic forums are complaining that melee characters are too weak.

Yeah I love how they’re complaing that they can’t just dive a whole team, mash on attack, kill a few people and walk out unscathed.

Yea, that’s dope. Good look. Loving Twinblast, but I need Impact Hammer. Every dominant TB I come up against has a IH and I get rocked. Other than that, I think my deck(s) are coming along decent.

Getting a bit frustrated w/ these random teams though. I see someone getting pushed back a bit, so I come up from the side or behind to outflank for a gank - teammate takes the opportunity to run.

Overall, I still suck but I’m getting better. I need to learn the map much better, so that I can anticipate where ganks are gonna come from. I play a naturally an aggressive style, so when I due get ganked it’s usually do to me taking that one step forward instead of backward.

the instant camp clear is doable by a lot of the cast. TB and muriel are the notable ones (as they also happen to be best in their role).

double jungle is common (and the extreme variant of it, 5 man deathball) at higher levels because two people means twice as many chances to land the instant kill, cXP is the same regardless of how many people you have sharing it (i believe exp is affected, but not by enough to matter in groups of 3 or less), faster jungle clears means more opportunities to do the instant kill (because you go through camps faster than they respawn), orb prime can be threatened as soon as it spawns, and double jungling widely expands the pool of jungle-capable heroes.

Yeah I even managed to do instant clear with Steel’s Charge. Hitting the camps as they drop in seems to be the trigger. It’s just easier with TB, Muriel, and Gadget because they have explosive domes.

5 man jungle should be getting nerfed eventually because it ruins the game. Just turns the game into a Brawler.

Murdoch too OP late game. I think he can two-shot any ranged character after the 15-20 minute mark.

Played a game yesterday against an obvious clan or at least a group that was using voice chat. Couldn’t cross to their side of the map on a push w/o their Feng jumping you from behind and completely dominating you. Tried to rally the guys on my side, but they were happy being lone wolves. Guess how that turned out. For matchmaking, they need to prioritize matching pre-mades against each other, it’s just too much of an advantage w/ the lack of in-game voice chat right now. An RT w/ no VC isn’t going beat a good pre-made and even worse it’s going to be a horrible experience.

After playing against a lot of Sevarogs this weekend, I think his overall kit is fine. However he greatly benefits from the inability for ranged classes to create space once a melee is on them.

Muriel is ridiculously OP. Hi, I can make my teammates invincible and give them movement speed at the same time, oh and I can also turn them into a walking steel ult while making them invincible. Stupid character.

Do it. She’s amazing but she def needs a nerf. Main heroes that need to get nerfed are Muriel, Rampage, and Murdock. Rampage for the fact that he’s basically zero risk and pretty much unkillable, building full damage and still tanky as fuck. What? Solo backdooring towers. What?

Kallari doesn’t seem to be in favour right now but pair that bitch with Muriel and she dives in, nukes your carries while being invincible then gets out with her amazing escapes. That pair is top tier.
