It’s a waste of time because you’re getting better on map that won’t be relevant anymore, to improve an elo score that never mattered, with heroes who are going to be changed dramatically. I love the game, but I can think of better things to do with my time until Monolith hits.
Also if you think a counter deck consists just of a card or two, you’re doing it wrong. One card can change the entire dynamic of your build.
There isn’t a single character in the game right now that I can think of that would require an entire deck to counter.
Specializing your deck to fight off one or two characters seems like a terrible idea.
I’ve never even heard of counter decks before you said that.

Narbash is mostly the same and I love that
Twinblast getting Growth was a surprise.
Sevarog and Kallari are gonna be disgusting.
Steel’s shield after getting maxed out being able to block 90% of damage is hilarious.

Narbash is actually even better now that the mana pool has increased, CD has decreased, and his healing is actually not completely useless anymore.
Well you can only face one direction when it’s activated so it’s pretty counterable if you’re melee.

Trumps reign as president has brought us Twinblast kicking ass again. I’m happy.
Still haven’t fixed matchmaking. Communities getting even more toxic.
I’m only doing bot games for about a week or so to learn the map - and to somewhat stall hopping into what’s going to be a horrible solo queue experience.
I played w/ Khai, Twin and Belica last night, thoroughly enjoying all of them. Belica is a monster now. Still need to try Kwang and Grey. I love that ADCs can completely ignore health/armor now. Just build for damage and use lifesteal as your sustain.

Actually, one thing I don’t like is the inability to dodge abilities like Smash & Grab and Steel’s ult. I feel like that was a large part in what made Paragon great. While positioning was important before, it’s even more so now.

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been put in games with a ton more noob Spanish players recently. It’s infuriating.
Seeing a Steel just take jungle, get killed by jungle minions, die six times back to back, ult the fog wall, & then message everyone else asking how to play (mind you he messaged us in Spanish & we had to hit up Google translate)is ridiculous.
We still won that game mind you because my twinblast & our iggy were getting kills left & right when the other team kept trying to go after him. Still say they should lock out new players or ban em a certain amount of time if they keep getting negative reports.
I’ve been noticing a tremendous noob influx also…adcs taking mid lane and 3 teammates deathballing while t2 tower falls. Then I’m the one getting hate pings because I can’t defend someone else’s lane 1v2 after losing time just getting there. Or people bullying into my lane or doubling up in jungle…wth is going on right now? Can I get some SRK teammates please? I’m not elite but I can execute basic damn tech unlike everyone I’m stuck with in solo q.
