Ya’ll niggas forgot the best feeling in the world woth Narbash. Throwing a stick at ULTing Gideons. Treachem a lesson. Same for Murdock l, knock him out of his snipes.
Anyway, Narbash’s biggest weakness isn’t even having one useless skill.
It’s that he’s so damn dependent on having a good team and decent at least composition.
Too many games have I had where my teammates would leave me to solo a lane.
I’m a fucking support character with a weak ass basic attack and only one offensive skill and that has a cool down. I can’t even 1v1 anyone that isn’t a squishy. Most I can do is delay pushes, and chip away at enemy player health until they get annoyed and fall back out of my safe zone.
And if you don’t have a team that can take advantage of your stuns and ult you’re also kind of fucked. Having a Gideon on the team, for example, is great because you can nuke the entire enemy team if you stack both your ults, and they can’t get away from the pull + slow combo. Having a team of Muriel, Sev, Kallari, and Greystone for example(which I was in and boy was it frustrating), you don’t really have any killing synergy other than charge and stun and hoping your teammate can kill them before they get to safety.
Just had a DOPE game. Was able to get my full 60cxp build with Kwang going. Their Rampage STOPPED in his tracks when he saw that glow from Font of Rapture. He had no clue what was going on lol. Stopped his push immediately. I used to use it on Greystone back in v27 and it never had those effects - so dope.
But it was a great game. Back and forth the entire way. Both teams seemed to be on the same page. I think they were a pre-made by the way they were split pushing towards the end. You don’t get that type of coordination with macro prompts.
They dropped our left inhib. Then we played defense for a good 10 minutes trying to get things settled. We got a couple kills, got Orb Prime and split pushed their lanes, eventually getting their mid and right inhibs. More team fighting until they killed two of us. One went back to defend mid, while the other pressed right. I snuck in the backdoor to get the last 27% of their core. Game went like 90mins I think.
I thought their Rampage was dope until I saw his build at the end. He left 44 physical armor and 13 damage on the shelf by not spreading out his upgrades. He played well, so the deck decisions boggle my mind.
I start with Assassin Ward, Executioner’s Key and Adamant Edge - each upgraded fully with 1cxp cards. If I want to try to solo OP early (haven’t tried yet), I have 6cxp Tuned Barrier. I use the Centurion OP buff.
And here I thought I was something special running FoR on Kwang.
People tell me it’s overkill but I run Drink the Spirits on Kwang too. Dude is one of the few who can delete waves fast enough to get notable benefits from the card, and it makes his sustain even sillier.
He’s actually pretty disgusting when it comes to pushing waves if you focus on that.
After I get about 40 stacks I move from the jungle to a lane. I don’t get why Sevarog players only save their Ult for players. That swing is a one shot kill to minions no matter what, you can wipe an entire enemy wave and cover some serious distance. If you geared for damage then you can waste a waves pretty fast while you’re waiting for it to CD(especially with siphon for AoE juicing). And if you have CD reduction that won’t be long.
