Because you need your stick to support what ever console you are planing to play on.
And not every 3rd party PCB on the market supports every Console.
So you have to scrounge up a controller, open it up and start soldering wires to all the button contacts.
Guys, any suggest to the cheap and best pad to hack currently? the fightpad series is quite expensive and kinda rare also in my country (Italy), maybe something on dx.com ?
Looking for an annotated PCB diagram for an Xbox 360 AfterGlow. I would like all the relevant buttons and the grounds mapped please, any and all help is appreciated!
Hey people, i need help. I wanna play Project M (a pretty awesome mod for Smash) with an arcade stick on my wii.
Is this even possible with a hacked pad(if so which one?), or do i need the madcatz se which has an analog option? Iām not even sure if this is the ārealā deal, meaning does this stick enable walking for example, or would you anytime you make an input automatically run?
Maybe someone has experience with this, iām really getting desperate here, i hate the gc controller so muchā¦
Found these chinese PS2 DualShock 2 controllers and decided to buy 2 to hack them. Impressively their quality is so so (not that bad) and when gutted them I found a very (good) surprise.
So there are 94 pages to go through so please excuse me if this question has been answered, but for xbox 360 what is the fastest / best pad to use for hacking? Is there more than one type of madcatz figthpads?
There are several madcatz pads that vary aesthetically but are internally similar such as the SFxT, SF4/SSF4, and Brawl Pads. The only difference in pads is the orientation of the buttons for the brawlpad which have LB and RB as 3P and 3K respectively, where LT and RT are the shoulder buttons.
These pads are generally recommended as they are common ground and have easy to access solder points for all buttons and triggers, essentially bypassing the extra effort needed for standard triggers on other 360 pads.
How do they PERFORM, though? Thatās what Iām curious about. If I decide to junk the PS360+ in favor of getting a faster xbox 360 solution, would I be better off with a padhack or a Paewang?
How do they perform? Like a controller should, functioning buttons and all. Iāve used them for years as my source of 360 pads for dual mods and had no issues with them.
If youāre worried about lag it will only serve to play its own mind games with you and create its own little virus that corrupts the way you perceive the game, preventing you from thoroughly enjoying it. You have your PS360+ on you, now that you know the amount of lag (however large or small you perceive it to be) it will be hard for you to NOT imagine some sort of fault with your execution due to the newly acquired knowledge you have gained. In cases like these I really donāt want to say ignorance is bliss, but sometimes it really is.
Iām not going to state anything on the perception of frames since that in itself is completely off topic, but just know that neither have seen many faults and have been a reliable source for padhacking.
Ebay⦠just got 2 for 40 bucks. Gamestop doesnāt carry them, but you may find afterglows or other similar common ground pads there. Just be sure to know what your looking for.
I think this is the same pad I just used, itās from the gamestop brand controller. Iāll annotate if itās the same as mine.
My question:
Iām trying to do a dual mod w/ a gamestop xbox360 controller and a gamestop PS2 controller, but it seems the PS2 common line is the 3.3V line, not the ground. Is there anyway I can make this work?
