Lies. I replaced the PCB. It’s the actual joystick that’s broken you sonovabish. I don’t have any spares and I’m not about to order another american stick just so you can have a spare when you come to my house. Unless you hook me up with your mom. Also, my tv finally gave out so I won’t be having any game nights until I get time off to go replace the bulb. Finished dual modding my TE. Its another stick we can use for tomorrow Saturday. Yay! Also means I can lend Ben my PS2 for Gear. I’ll bring it next gathering Ben.
Sure man. It’s a reeeally easy mod. The hard part is actually organizing the wiring. I would also suggest using IMP with the MC. It makes it so that you don’t have to install a switch. You can use the existing stick select switch on the TE, you know the LS DP RS thing.
Still hasn’t “completely” fixed his MAS stick. When I think about it, you probably don’t even need to order a new stick. I bet all you need to do is clean the inside where the spring is housed. I did that to mine about a month ago and it’s was pretty dirty, and that was after it had already been cleaned a few months prior when I got it dual-modded. I’m still free, don’t worry. I haven’t played the game for a couple weeks now, and when I do, it’s just doing trials. I might be able to come through on Sunday. Not sure yet. I’ll find out tonight. Decided to finally boot up Continuum Shift again last night and try characters that weren’t Tager. None of them really seemed up my alley (Hakumen was harder than I thought, Ragna and Jin are too boring to stomach the thought of playing, Tsubaki sucks too much) except Bang, so I’ll probably switch to him.
Having to actually learn how to crouch-confirm as well as hit-confirm will be annoying at first, but I’m comforted by the fact that his combos barely require any special moves and I can get some low-hanging 3.6k damage just by doing stuff like j. C, s. B, c. B, sweep, c. B OTG, Radical Super Crash -> Daifunka…at least on Jin. Maybe I’ll be disappointed and find out that that’s not universal (I know there are character-dependent Radical Super Crash loops), but for now I’ll take it.
Also, it is really, really, REALLY annoying to try to practice basic BnBs on a dummy that WILL. NOT. SIT. STILL. Hold STILL, goddammit. :mad:
