Anyways so I truly am excited for Mortal Kombat and well believe it or not, through a connection I got to speak to ED Boon Directly about CEO and he was very honest with me in that they don’t really have any interest in the hardcore fighting game community and they prefer to reach out to the completely casual crowd at big conventions and such so I don’t see any CEO Support coming from Midway :(.

A Comic Shop is legit for how small it is. I went there with a friend last week and they had some known artist there. The place was packed. As for the MVC3 Tournament, I believe its round 2 of a previous one. I’ll go there anyway, since I live right next to it. Plus, its a good thing if its filled with “scrubs”, they prolly havent heard of CEO yet.
BTW, I think the Tower Challenge of MK just turned me off even more. R&D and Money that couldve been spent more on the core game. I’m reminded of the “Adventure” mode of Tekken 6. Whatever tho. I’m still on the wait-and-see boat. Hopefully the game turns out great.
@ tony: hope you have a ps3 for the mk9 demo. looks like i’ll be trying out playstation plus.

I’m not 100% sure if it’s gonna be the wisest move for me to spontaneously go out and get a PS3 just to be able to play the MK9 demo 1 week before it’s available on XBLive, as well as the (free) PSNetwork.

Sorry Ian I meant WB. And Tony, not sure where you saw Xbox is getting the Demo but From What I’ve read it’s not at all. It’s coming to PSN PLUS members first on March 8th, then a week later to the rest of PSN but not at all for Xbox live.

Yeah No clear Announcement for XBox yet actually so who knows if it’s coming at all but I hope so too. And if you had a facebook you’d know exactly what the DEMO Includes lol:

I’m sitting on a precon PS3 Cthulhu I’m doing nothing with right now.
I’m sure there will eventually be an xbox demo. But prolly not for awhile. They are actually working pretty close with Sony on this game. Pretty apparent, with the Kratos exclusive and the 3D viewing mode. Most likely in exchange for marketing. Sony themselves are promoting the game quite abit.
What do you need it for? Don’t you have most fighting games on 360 anyways? Although you do have 6 and DR for PS3…
He probably needs a dual mod for Final Round…just like pretty much all of Orlando GOING to Final Round…coughincludingyourstrulycough

I don’t need it for Final Round per say, only decided to play T6 since my team for Marvel has been changing too much. I just would want to get it done sooner now that Rico is going back to Texas at the end of March.
