Honestly, probably 20% or less of my games were seamless last night. Irvyn and I played for about 30 minutes, it was like fighting while slowly being chloroformed out of reality. PSN lag FTL. GGs Irvyn! That Kitana is shaping up nicely. Well… Jebailey stole my main of Raiden, and Irvyn has my 2nd fave Kitana lol… back to the drawing board 
I’m on about level 75 of the Challenge Tower, it starts getting pretty difficult honestly — which is good. Going to dive into story mode tonight, keep hearing how incredible it is.
This! I tried to play a few matches online late just to see how the King of the Hill mode was like and punishment was a joke, movement sucked ass, and most matches would drop as soon as I got into the King of the Hill lobby watching.
Why can’t someone take what GGPO did into the console realm or get them to make a version for consoles?
Pro tip: You can pause while playing online, even mid-match. So if you want to know your character’s combos, specials, or fatalities, I suggest pausing between rounds, or during an x-ray move. Gives you ample time to get the fatality to humiliate your scrubby online competition. I was playing random select, and this came in pretty handy.
GGS last night Pez. I will reiterate whats already been stated, PSN is shit. We didnt have a single lag free match. I hope they patch it because it’s unbearable. Offline this game is awesome. I love the classic MK feel. I’m still going through characters to see who I like. Kitana will definitely be one of my mains.
I’ve played story mode up to Liu Kang Chapter last night. I am actually impressed with it. The story isn’t a best seller but it is entertaining and makes you use all the characters.
By the way, how do you unlock the other characters? And I wish the Krypt showed me what I was unlocking before I purchase it. I got Noob and Nightwolf 2nd fatality, and a bunch of concept art which I don’t care to see. I like Smoke’s and Cyrax alternate costumes. Do I have to unlock those via the Krypt too?
You guys do know PSN don’t have servers, right? The company of the game runs its own servers for PSN. That means the blame should be on companies going cheap on the servers department. Playstation came up with this crazy idea that online should be open and free. Instead of the consumer paying the bill (XBOX), PSN want the company to pay for it. Just. Like. The. PC.

As for why Mortal Kombat doesn’t, it’s likely a combination of factors, probably involving large, bureaucratic corporate parents and the expectation that they could get “good enough” netcode for their audience by doing it in-house with stock libraries.
And if anyone’s using a server for anything other than matchmaking and maybe “rebroadcasting” a time-delayed spectator signal in a two-player fighting game, they should start writing their netcode over. Well-written peer-to-peer is always going to be so much faster it ain’t even funny.

I never said the problem was with PSN itself, I was just saying playing the game over PSN on their servers and the coding in game were a joke. I know I played other games and done fine over it in other genres. I have always assumed if the online is bad that it is the game’s end and not the online service’s end for PSN or Live.

Also quickest way to money is first there are green bugs hidden in the Krypt, if you find em, just hover over them for like 10 seconds and a secret box opens, each one has 5000 coins and there’s 4 hidden chests.
My trick to easy money, Pick Ladder mode, Beginner, Set it to 3 rounds to win(3/5) And just get Flawless victories, each Flawless is 1000 coins. I usually get 9000 for every 5 minutes of ladder matches then just reset and do it over. Just finished unlocking the entire krypt.
