Weeknights are rough for me. If I’m not working my wife is, and one of us has to be home with our kids. On the off chance we’re both off it’s pretty hard to convince her that I want to go elsewhere by myself and leave her at home with the kids on her only night off. Yeah it sucks. Weekends are always best, and on Wednesdays I hang out in Orlando from 1030 till 3 when I have to be back at school for meetings. My schedule doesn’t really afford me much time for anything, but I’m still trying to play when I can. We should get up in town sometime. You got 360 or PS3?

I live off Sisson Road in between 50 and 405. I have a PS3 and one PS3 stick.
MK9 2vs2… taps vein on arm like junkie
Story Mode is amazing, takes all the best elements of the storyline and molds it together.
There are Babalities in the game, I’ve done it with Cyrax on multiple characters. The only stipulation is it has to be the 3rd round of a match to do them.
Off to work now otherwise I’d keep playing all damn day.
I’m pushing this game bigtime now for CEO for 1v1 and 4 player 2v2.
Oh yeah and good luck beating my Cheesy Sindel lol.

Once I learn to duck (NOT block) Kung Lao’s teleport, and the trick to that ridiculous Sindel hair flip move, I’ll fare much better. 
So far I think I like Raiden a lot, with Kitana not too far behind.
Can’t wait to get my copy… still trying to decide if I’m getting it for 360 or for PS3 on day of though. Decisions, decisions.

So where the hell do I go to learn actual combos and strategies for MK9? I’m gonna load up the demo again and see if it’s any less awkward on a PS3 pad, although I still don’t think I’ll be able to pull off any fatalities.
I assume several of you have the “free preview” already; who is the scrubbiest, lowest-execution character in the entire cast before DLC?
EDIT: Mileena seems all right, even if the damn pad is giving me a blister. I like the spam potential of tigerknee sai, and that roll is godlike for combos. The jabs in this game are PAINFULLY slow, though…so hard to start juggling with them. Best I can do meterless midscreen so far is fierce xx roll, split kick, fierce xx roll.

2nd Easier Spam character so far I think is probably Scorpion, but in all fairness every character is fun to play. Can’t really help you out like SF. And Trust me I prefer playing this game on a Pad.
Good writeup, Jebailey. Absolutely agree about your opinion that the 4 player 2vs2 is (arguably) the best thing to happen to the fighting game scene in such a long time. No more waiting around for 15 minutes for your turn in Super or Marvel

Since this applies to pretty much just TSAK, Jeff and Ben, I wanted to post it here to spread the word… UPDATE 4/15/111: According to AKSYS the BBCSII update will be coming as a patch(Seems to be a free patch) to PS3/XBOX in the middle of May. So the Official BBSC Tourney at CEO will be the new Updated BBCSII arcade patched version.
I’m hype for MK9. Pez, get it for the PS3 already man.
