I guess I’m a little late hopping on this forum… I’ve been looking into seeing where the Orlando scene is with Marvel, and eventually improving my game in SSF4. Lol oh yea, I’m a pad player as well… Haven’t decided on learning stick for SSF4/MVC3 yet. Maybe next time one of you guys are hosting, I’ll try to show up and show you what I got…

I actually just came from a MVC3 tourney Play N Trade was holding. Came in 2nd for our division, lost to XFC3 Dark Phoenix on 3 - 2 best of 5… I’ve been having a lot of issues against D.Phoenix, not because of the Mix up teleports, but because of the chip she deals… Anybody can help me out?
Blocking and XFactor can help with that. Can’t really help much with that because a lot of her projectiles are hard to dodge. Try to kill her before it gets down to Level 5 by snapping her in.
I actually did that a few times (snap-backing before Lvl 5), but one thing I realized about MVC3, there’s no more guard breaking… So in order to follow-up after snap-back, I tried using TaskMaster Beta assist to try and air grab w/ Wesker. But block stun stays in effect too long.
On snapback call Sent assist, then while they are switching in go for a throw. If they tech they have to block drones, and if they get thrown you get a free combo.
Hmmm… That’s actually a good idea… I don’t know why I never tried that, I have a tendency to be a bit safer side with Sent since his nerf… Damn robot stays out for a year pointing his finger asking to get punished… Lol, nah I’m jk…

Less than 3 weeks ago he was at the biggest major on the East Coast leveling up against the top competition in the country and he was at casuals last week.

Lmao, how can you even compare MvC1 to MvC3? They’re both completely different games. Unlike MvC1, MvC3 isn’t limited to 4 - 6 chars. But I see you, looking forward to the next hosting, so I can body that in MvC3/SSF4 as well… Hehe
