The only other confirmed change right now is Spencer lost his corner loop (the jump-cancel-cancelled launcher stuff, if I’m not mistaken). Rumors of some character-specific X-Factor scaling changes, but nothing concrete yet. Oh, and Sentinel’s closer to 875k than 900k. Thank God for the machine?

Oh, and apparently the Zero glitch, DHC trick, and CapAm/Akuma infinites are all still in the game. I’ll give 'em the Zero glitch, allowing for patch approval times + the whole “business even in Tokyo was kind of massively disrupted by disasters” thing, but the other stuff? C’mon.

even with the health nerf he will still make a fine anchor character. They didn’t touch his damage so you just have to not play more careful before you touch of death someone
The MK9 demo guide for SF players at the top of the page is actually pretty insightful (albeit not w/o its flaws). When the game comes out, I’m gonna try to dig really deep into the engine/game mechanics.
Spencer loop?
I said Sentinel’s drones don’t help Wolvie get in, which is true. It has very specific uses but it’s only real use on a Wolverine team is to be used for lockdown and oki after a knockdown. It’s not good for zoning either cause if you hit Sent then the drones will disappear.
I strongly disagree, they cover him extremely well on his approach of a character as well as provide good cover for any mixu-ups you may attempt while they are out…

Word came in this afternoon that about 13 gameplay changes were made to Marvel vs. Capcom 3. This does depend on how you categorize/count the updates, though, but this should keep the community hunting for a little while to track down what has been changed.
This was mentioned by an extremely reliable source, but one that wished to remain anonymous.
There were also a number of non-gameplay bug fixes. The official patch notes may be released some time in the near future, if they are, you’ll hear about it here.
Here’s a quick rundown of the things discovered so far.
- Sentinel’s health reduced.
- Akuma’s hit stun on Hurricane Kick decreased, removing infinite.
- Spencer ground glitch removed.
- Haggar ground glitch removed.
- Dormammu’s Jumping Medium Attack does 70,000 damage, up from 50,000.
- Reportedly, Spencer’s corner loop has been removed.
I personally observed 5 seconds of silence for the tragic loss of 400,000 of Sentinel’s health points. Then I got bored and started ranting about Phoenix. Next patch I hope they nerf that bitch so hard that 3S Sean laughs at her.

Not taking sides here, but I do have a question. Sentinel Drones protect wolverine to get in, but how does wolverine protect Sentinel?
DRONES ASSIST WEAKNESS
- it comes out too slow
- sent is out forever
- sent just got the nerf bat
what does this mean? pretty much an easy beam super punish or free combo. you’re right though, drones assist works pretty ok with many characters and i’m not arguing that. you can use dorm teleport shenanigans with it well but it becomes easy to deal with because sentinel cues himself in and thats your signal to jump outta there. instead, iron man beam assist works way better with dorm (faster and no knockdown so free dorm combo into chaotic flame). you want an assist that can clear a path for wolvie use doom’s beam assist (12 durability points!!!) or magneto disruptor since its stupid fast. sentinel drones can be too slow esp if you’re getting rushed down. since you have to back up with wolvie to make sure sent doesn’t get shit on, you pretty much telegraph what you’re gonna do to your opponent. you have to give up substantial spacing and we all know in this game that getting cornered means you’re fucked. this is why tsak (aside from being much better than i am) was demolishing me last time by killing sent for free or cornering me easily with extra pressure from the akuma assist. keep playing the team and the weaknesses will become apparent as long as you play someone who is good at capitalizing such openings. don’t get me started on dorm. the team is decent but there are undoubtedly far superior teams.
tldr version: sent assist is too slow and relatively easy to punish

I was going to drop the argument because there is no convincing you apparently, until I saw this post.
Sent drones are good for mixups, after knockdown. If you use Sent drones as a way to get in your opponent can usually hit Sent before the drones can even reach them. With this new nerf you have to be even more careful of when you call Sentinel or you will lose him before he can even become an anchor.
By the way, you didn’t say the same thing as me. The only possible way you could have said the same thing as me is if you were using sarcasm, which is why I asked if it was bad sarcasm. Sarcasm is impossible to detect online without a knowledge of the person before hand.
