That was my sentiment towards SRK GD when i was new too, shit used to get pretty rough.
I’m going to get called out on this because it’s some elitist shit but it’s honestly how I feel - it’s because back then the majority of the posters were fairly competent. The amount of no name/nobody posters was a lot lower than it is now so when someone fucked up it was rarer. Also it was a chance to downplay someone who would always up play themselves. There’s just so many names now that it defeats the purpose, why do I want to impress these people I don’t know by making someone look dumb? And there’s just so many people that make themselves look dumb now, it used to be if you made a thread you better had good reason to make that, now you get a new one a day saying “WHY ISN’T THERE A GURL VERSION OF RYU?” or “I can do all the combos buy I still don’t win why??”. So with all of this it’s like shooting a bullseye when the target is 25 feet wide, big deal.
^ So its more like niggas shooting themselves in the foot and enjoying it versus people being ashamed of shooting themselves in the foot.
Plus its less fun to insult idiots its too easy.

damn…I didn’t realize how long some of ya’ll been on here for…like I know many are OGs here but to think it’s going to be a decade for some here (6 going on 7 myself) and many are still goin’ strong.
I have been on over a dozen forums over the time and when I stop posting on so many of them…SRK is the only one I still consistently visit. this place I consider my online home.
I can’t leave SRK for too long. I start missing it. Keep hope alive.

I know I lured many years before actually joining. I really didn’t have much to post/say but I knew if it was ‘‘off’’ I would had gotten my ass handed to me 
. SRK had a really different mentality back then but also alot-of good thread reads and posts. Now there’s a rising rate of ungrateful, winy, spamming, I can’t read anything but the make a new thread button first, bs going on around here. I remember when the front page got updated hardly ever now we get it everyday n people complain about it?:shake: It’s the few things like this that makes me miss the old.
