I think the new SRKās awesome. 2000 - 2003 will always be the golden age of SRK to me, but this place still has it where it counts. It just seems like there were more colorful peeps and shit back then now because this forumās been around long enough that we can look back at cool posters & memories that have come and gone. Years from now weāll be looking back on threads and posters who made their mark within the past few years. 2006 was SRK entertainment at its finest if you ask me.
I think my real gripe about the new SRK is the people on itā¦ It seems like thereās a little bitch community of people, that suck up to a certain number of other peopleā¦ That, and the whole pun thing is prettyā¦ I donāt know. Every single pun sucks. Seems like more people post things that shouldnāt have everbeen postedā¦and that the threads arenāt worthwhile most of the timeā¦
Keep in mind, itās only my opinionā¦ but if you guys are happy with it, more power to youā¦
Hell, maybe iām wrong, and that my lack of interaction has left me not feeling that certain ādigā that I used to get back in the older timesā¦
I actually agree with you there, Zor. SRK first. 2007 has started out great, might I add. Barely a month into the year, and weāve seen more action around these parts than ever in the beggining of a year.

Man, I remember when i first stumbled upon here. Guilty Gear and MvC2 was the new rave. There used to be a section for character move lists. Avatars didnāt exist yet, Instead you could have Gifs in your sig. I remember one sentence posts that would take up the whole screen cause of a big picture of Geese in his pimp chair.

In all seriousness, 2003 was the shit. I hadnāt really got into internet forums until I found this place and constantly found myself laughing. I still have the bookmark from me old IE browser on the old ass eMachines from back then.
I remember lurking in 2003. I had just gotten into MvC2 and would just chill as a guest reading the Marvel boards. I spent one night looking through GD, and was a witness to more e-thuggery and textual rape than I could have ever imagined back when I was 15 years old. As pathetic as it sounds, I was scared to post here.
Then shit cooled down in '04 and I decided to register. Still, old SRK makes an impression on me. I only wish I wouldāve been mentally mature enough to have appreciated it at the time.
