At this point I agree pad is the way to go here. Kudus to those that can use 8 face buttons… and don’t need that clutch Taunt to buff the F meter…
In the interim, if anyone is using a TE/SE/HRAP, etc for this game in a tournament setting, would be good to know.

also the file list seems to fake, expecially with goldberg…maybe they used a moveset based on him but I doubt his data is in the game

On another note with DLC characters being released fast and furious, I’m pretty upset my WWEAS Prima guide is almost obsolete. lol
Finally got the XBL DLC stuff last night…PU2011 had me put it on the backburner…but omfg Dusty Rhodes…the Common Man. Good shit.

Played the game yesterday. It’s simply too fun.
I found myself using Macho Man, CM Punk and THE ULTIMATE WARRIIOOORR (SNORT) the most. If I’ll get the game soon, I’ll definitely go in the lab with these three.
I hear they’ll be a side tournament at Evo. Can someone please record few matches when it happens?

I may do a mini write up of the formerly dashing one. On a side note, I threw a fit when someone hit my face with Piper’s thumb move and was pretty over even with non-wrestling fans around :D.
General strategy
Is there a topic for general strategy discussions? I’m in dire need of some tips 
I play with Macho Man Randy Savage and I’m having big trouble against grapplers. Can’t seem to get away (no meter at start of a match is bad for acrobats). Getting better at countering should make a difference, I know. Still it’s tough using the spring ropes and turnbuckle moves (biggest damage for acrobats) when the oponent stays close to the side, making him able to roll out of the ring at any time.
Any gameplay tips for Randy Savage are very welcome. I don’t want to be forced to pick another main thinking Randy is underpowered…
Hey guys has wweas lost its all of its steam? Just wondering months later if its fallen into the “party” game category? Just when I was ready to get into it PSN went down and mk9 came out, now AE and 3S is back with a vengeance.
dunno still play it regularly online. i dont have the AE update and MK is still unbearable online. so much of my time is still with WWEAS. too much rage quitters though especially when you’re playing tagteam. and characters with “slow” finishers (like bret hart) give people too much time to rage quit. its simply annoying. anyway still waiting for the DLCs
Once THQ releases the DLC like Jericho, Million $ Man, Boss Man, and LOD, i will be jumping back into it. Really though the game is still just as fun as it was day one. PSN dying did contribute to most games dying down though.
Fucking little kids with their handicap matches like in SvR. Thank goodness SvR now looks like DOR2
All the DLC but Mark Henry, Big Boss Man and Michael Hayes come out Tuesday.
Not sure if I’m still running this at EVO. We’ll see.

oh man,… i just saw the wwe brawl trailer… i seriously hope they just abandon that and focus on a more polished update to wwe all stars.
there hasnt been much demand for new strats and as noted when the other titles dropped (AE/MK) it felt like everyone lost interest. im still getting it in on this and have taken the things ive already learned to a whole new level. Me+Miz=WIN

I think some of these DLC characters are getting nerfed with the next set of tweaks cuz gdamn almighty (not just the R-Truth glitch, either)…
On the THQ forums one of their staff said they’d post patch notes, I’d be interested to see those. Apparently people like Edge have been toned down a bit.
so… will there be still a side tourney for this at EVO? not that i will be able to join, but it would be interesting to see how far this game has went already
