i haven’t had the chance to try this but while playing batman i noticed catwomans vision mode makes the image look much like Trioviz’s 3D without 3D tvs integration like the one hidden in assassins creed 3. can someone with those glasses try it out wouldnt surprise me and look at catwomans armoured goggles. if it works i hope its the same for batman
Has anyone ever heard of the New super mario bros wii: The Next Levels. My friend turned me on to this mod for NSMBW and my girl and I tried it out on Christmas and that shit is insane. It is like Kaizo Mario Lite. The levels in this game are great, we still havent even gotten past the first world yet. For people that are always talking shit about how easy the nsmb games are, they should try that mod out. It is kind of like the whole game is made of an impossible pack dlc.

I"m looking pretty hard at Aliens Colonial Marines as my next Retail purchase for this system…the only issue is that Pitchford and co haven’t announced whether the Wii U version will be coming out the same day as the others yet…If it’s pushed back then I’ll be scooping Rayman Legends in it’s place probably. Digitally I’ll probably be dropping money on Mighty Switch Force sometime in January. I gotta recover from Christmas and Magfest since I’m going this year.
I forgot to mention that a hardrive came in today at work for the Wii U that was 320 GBs and had a Y cord at like 79.99. Lemme see if I can find it…

It doesn’t look like it requires an extra power cord and that’s not too bad a price if I’m comparing it to 360’s 320GB which is 129.99 msrp.
I also updated the games in the OP. Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101, and Pikmin 3 all still have place holder dates. I’m hoping we get a Direct in January.
I moved my Wii U into the other room and played NG3: RE while my wife was playing Sleeping Dogs on the PS3. Had the game running through the pad while using my Pro controller and when she left I just switched it to the big screen. I hope I never take this functionality for granted lol. Anyways…back to getting my ass handed to me by off screen rockets, kamikaze soldiers and random helicopters.

I’ve beaten none of these, lol…Next game I’m probably going to pony up for…Monster Hunter. Possibly Pikmin 3 as well(and thats just titles on the WiiU).
With Steam Sale going on, I’m already buried alive here :lol: ZombiU and Mario, I’ll probably sit down at some point and just power through them. NG3, I need to out gay the main campaign so I can play Kasumi mission(only reason I really bought it 
) and Sonic…Sonic is the trap. See. Racing games like those, I have this unruly compulsiveness…I have to have EVERYTHING. 100% completion. And that A.I…I already noticed is already is “fuck you, buddy” hard. And I’m just not ready to devote that much time toward it, yet. Switch Force is just too good. I’m glad I got that one, I personally enjoy it better than Mario.
Yesterday I managed to complete World Tour of Sonic Racing Transformed. This is probably my greatest achievement with a Wii U game to date. Now I’m working on the expert staff ghosts and grand prix.
I also restarted my Gamefly membership. I have twelve Wii U games in my Q.

This is interesting especially after that rumor that got posted in the RE6 thread…For the most part seems that Capcom does indeed have other projects in the works other than Monster Hunter and supposedly they aren’t ports of old games.

I fucking love Nano Assault Neo. Really reminds me of Metroid Prime in its appearance/sound, and the bonus levels remind me of N2O: Nitrous Oxide. A few of my favorites. Current goal is to beat the entire game in one sitting without getting hit a single time, and going 5 minutes in the bonus level (or to the end).
Next definite purchase will be Monster Hunter, but I might get NG3 or Just Dance 4 before that. I’ll likely buy any good shmup or fun looking 8bit/16bit styled eShop game that comes out.
EDIT: Currently, my greatest of all video game wishes is to get a Final Fantasy XII: International Zodiac Job System HD release on Wii U. Gamepad for menu/Gambit navigation, graphics at least as good as emulators can produce, maybe with an option for Japanese or English dialogue/text… I think I just made myself a little sad knowing this will likely never happen.
Even though the Wii U’s online service has the same flaw that the Wii’s service had (unless I’m mistaken), Nintendo seriously needs to consider re-releasing Gamecube games (digital or not). Not necessarily because I want to play them, but because the prices for any of the good games on Amazon/Ebay have officially become ridiculous. The prices on Wind Waker/Tales of Symphonia/etc. literally doubled overnight. Is it the holidays, or is paying $50-70 for used GC games expected to be the norm? I don’t really know.

Anybody got a list of third party supporters and upcoming games? They may claim more games are coming, but companies like capcom and namco tend to announce games well in advance for new systems, then release exactly what they said they would…and not a pixel more.
