Sweet sweet she’s so sweet. I just got married last month. I’d known her for about 6 years and had gotten engaged to her summer of last year. I actually had her ring tone as Amy’s for awhile…She didn’t get the small joke but my friends did lol.
I’d tell you good luck. Never give up hope though and trust your instincts. I’m sure that’s how Red Rick found one.
Man…this motion tracker is in ZombiU is both you’re greatest asset and could possibly get you into trouble. This thing picks up anything that’s moving and that includes rats and birds and shit. At times I’m walking into an area and the first thing I do is send out the pulse and there will be a mass of red dots right around the bend and I slowly walk myself around the corner expecting there to be zombies and it’s nothing but rats scattering about. The fact that it’s a motion detector also means that it doesn’t take into accounts zombies chilling on the ground…Zombieland had the right idea about the ‘double-tap’. Every dead body I’ve come across I make sure that it doesn’t have a head before I go near it. Motion Tracker also didn’t pick up one of the zombies in a dark hallway in the sewer that I came |-| this close to not seeing.
I have always usually been against going out for black Friday and am actually still deciding on whether or not to actually do it or not. I really don’t want to support it because it seems these companies are losing their damn minds by opening up at 8 the night of thanksgiving not allowing people to even spend time with their families. Its getting really crazy but I am tempted by getting a free copy of NSMBU.
Really happy to hear about your playtrhough because it gives me hope that this is actually a survival horror rather than an action horror that claims to be a survival horror. I have been wanting a good survival horror for some time. Nothing gets you to tense up like a survival horror.
Reggie…you need to get out there and talk to them. Do SOMETHING. If the game is coming out in May (estimated) then if Rockstar is going to start working on a version of it for Wii U to make sure that it doesn’t have problems like the other ports at this launch then they need to be working on it right now!
My NNIDs are ZeroSuit(main one) and DanHibiki… I only have BLOPS II and i plan on getting the sonic and all stars transformed soon. Overall I am very pleased with Nintendo and the things I’m hearing and seen. I’m hoping to that mad catz will make an arcade stick that does not require the wii mote. I would start my computer screen if that was announced. Guys Plz do add my first account mt as only one of my friends got a wii u.

There’s been only one section so far that’s been closer to an Action game which involves a gun turret and Zombies coming out of the woodwork. Even still though the fact that one bite can will you changes the situation where there’s no fucking way you are going to be able to take on that horde by yourself especially so early in the game. I still only had a handgun and probably like 25-30 bullets and that includes the 13 that are already in the clip. In the situation that I was in considering everything else you deal with to get to that point you understand immediately that it was imperative that not one of those zombies get near you to get you off that turret. Thinking back on it now I’m not even 100% sure if the horde that was coming was coming anyway or if it was a product of the fact that I decided to use the turret on the 3 zombies that stood between me and progress.
If you’re unsure about your feelings on the game I’d recommend watching a walkthrough of the beginning moments of the game but I’ll keep posting stuff about moments and what not in the game.
For those that have it is NSMBU better than the one on Wii? Didn’t like that one and playing the first few levels of the 3DS one I’m not enjoying it much so not sure if I should just skip this one.
Thanks for the info. I’ll just go for it and see what happens. Although ill be sad if it bricks and I lose all the games i downloaded from the virtual console. Oh well, I want to play newer games too like skyward sword and galaxy 2 but im too lazy to keep up with the modding stuff nowadays.
sikwidit: I agree. Sadly, I think you’ll find this is market driven. You can sit out Black Friday, but can you convince your friends, relatives, neighbors, and coworkers to? If not, the trend will likely continue and the question is “are you okay with missing out on low-priced, but usually decent quality, material goods?” The answer differs from person to person, of course. It’s worth noting the ‘doorbuster’ effect is less severe in smaller communities; people are less interested in trampling people whose names and faces they know. Shopping tends to be more pleasant then, and if this describes the area you live in… well, it might be perfectly alright to go out for Black Friday deals.
At any rate, I feel good about my purchase so far. Got some games coming in, getting familiar with the controls… still need to work out a few snags, but all in all I think I made the right choice. Hopefully that warm and fuzzy feeling will remain a few months from now.
Yes. Updated the wii successfully without getting bopped by nintendo. Ready to transfer my stuff whenever I get ahold of a wiiu.
Although I am getting rather annoyed with this point distribution use of buying things on consoles. I have 600 points and had a sudden urge to play Final Fantasy III since I saw it on the wiishop ( never played it before ). Its 800 points and I can only buy points in 1,000 increments. Really fucking annoying.
Just set up my Wii-U stuff. ID is: MrBastos. My GF is visiting from Hawaii so I only had a chance to pick up my system yesterday and not play (was able to start the firmware update and let it finish while we watch Wreck it Ralph, but then turned it off so we could meet her family again). BUT she did spoil the shit out of me and ended up buying me Epic Mickey 2, and then we went to TRU and they have Buy 1 get 1 40% off so she also got me ZombiU and Scribblenauts. so this is what I came out with:
If you (like me) adored Super Mario World, you -definitely- have to play NSMBU. It’s as if the same team worked on both games. There are also blatant references to SMB2 and SMB3. The only gripe is that the music isn’t very interesting. I also recommend playing the game in co-op (if you have others available to play with you). The game is a lot harder when there are multiple players as it’s so easy to be distracted, but also more fun.
CoD Black Ops 2 on Wii U may be the definitive version. For one thing, the game runs at 60 fps making sniping easier. The game works very well with the Wii Remote. If you use the Gamepad, then two players can play without resorting to split screen. The gripes are very minor; so far no DLC has been announced but I assume Activision and Nintendo are working things out as we speak. Secondly, there’s not a lot of people playing the game online, but hopefully that will be less and less of an issue in the coming weeks.
I hate to say this … avoid EA games like the plague on Wii U. Almost of them are subpar/gimped. This has nothing to do with console and everything to do with the developers. Activision was able to port Black Ops 2 along with Ubisoft with Assassin’s Creed 3 over to the Wii U without any issues and even added some improvements. EA has shown a record of releasing gimped versions for a new console missing features from the previous generation (Xbox vs X360 back in '05 is a great example). It’s not just about the graphics either, as there are bugs and such in ME3.
Lastly, according to NoA’s Reggie Fils-Aime, there are games (and features) for the Wii U that have not been announced to be released during the launch window.
You have been placed in the OP and I have also added you. Nice Score there sir…I’d be careful about opening up Epic Mickey 2. I haven’t been hearing too many good things about it so far but if you decide to play it I’d like to hear your thoughts on it.
yeah I just read that apparently you can bring everything over to the Wii U including the homebrewed stuff
The mic on the gamepad works for in game chat…you just have to plug earphones into it apparently
I’m also curious…has anyone picked up NG3: RE? I just want to hear from someone on it…especially if they played the original. Impressions on anything I find welcome really.
Sonic Racing Transformed is pretty solid on this system. The extra Wii U features are nice and novel but I’m so unfamiliar with the tracks currently and the game is so fast that I’m scared to take my eyes off the TV for a second to watch one of my missles get shoved up into another racer’s ass cheeks. The only issue I’ve had with this game so far is at one point while I was on one of the stages I was driving on the water…the water suddenly disappeared. Twas definitely a o_O? moment but it’s only happened once. If you want a kart racer then I feel Sonic Racing Transformed will scratch that itch. The music is fucking awesome and it’s only 40 bones!
Edit:
I find it quite interesting that it seems most who have actually played ZombiU seem to be enjoying it.
I do not know how to put notes out in the world for other players yet but this sounds quite troll worthy
Has anyone tried VC games yet? I want to know if they can be played on the tablet. Portable VC games is appealing.
Also, Nintendo Land is really fun. I haven’t tried all of the events yet, but so far I’m digging the Pikmin game, the ninja game, and Luigi’s Mansion. The Octopus game is silly fun with the player’s face in the background making those movements. What sucks is that for the Metroid game, you need to have Wii Motion Plus or you can’t play. We only have one, so we need one more.
