EA deny neglecting Wii U and ‘hold fire’ on 2 unannounced titles
No telling if they’re exclusive or 2 upcoming games that have been already announced for other systems. We will find out the rest of their Wii U line up this summer.
Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge makes this system a must buy for me. They purposely made NG3 on 360/PS3 shitty to give us a true sequel to NG2 on Wii-U. Team Ninja you crafty fucks lol.
It’s coming…IIRC I thought I saw some where that i was coming Sept. checks yeah Sept.
Wii U won’t have anything against used games sales
this is actually part of a bigger interview with moffitt on Gamespot in which he kind of tripped over a few questions
one of those being about Wii U games being in 720p or 1080p…he told them 1080p when earlier we were told starting launch 1st party titles would be 720p.
In either case though if the anyone in the Big 3 wanted to try to do something to prevent preowned games they’d all have to jump in at the same time otherwise they’d be doomed to fail. And they can’t collaborate in going in at the same time either since that’d be illegal.
11 pm EST tomorrow there will be a Japanese Nintendo Direct. So sudden…
Crytek: CryEngine 3 ‘Beautiful’ on Wii U
Well that’s one question I had answered. Crytek doesn’t currently have any plans for games on the Wii U but they’ve said there’s a respected developer that is working on one that they plan to announce at some point.
Nintendo has co-ownership of Fatal Frame IP along with Tecmo Koei
Nintendo and Tecmo Koei’s friendship seems to be getting bigger every year now…Maybe Wii U will get a port of DOA 5 down the road and it will actually have Samus as a playable fighter?
I think if they made a Killer Instinct 3 it’ll most likely have the best graphics ever made in a fighting game. they could use their latest abilities of the UE3 because the character identity is already 3D based.
I get pissed sometimes at Nintendo/Rare for wasting what seemed to be a prime IP, although I get they couldn’t chain the original developers into the Rare building and force them to do stuff they wanted.
I have no faith at all in Rare, but I do wish that Nintendo would at least try their hands at a non Smash Bros. fighting game at least once more but we are more likely to see Eternal Darkness 2 (which honestly isn’t a bad trade off).
Rare as they are now is just shallow shell of what it once was since most of the talent left the studio. People who were a part of the franchise want to make it…but Microsoft is just sitting on it. These last 3-4 years would have been perfect to capitalize on the revitalization of the fighting game genre but no dice.
second time he’s mentioned about a change of direction and from the sound of things…I’m suspecting some character might not be returning in the initial lineup…that’s the vibe I’m getting.
