Then we won’t answer.
I’d like to once again be the first person in the North American continent to upload video footage of a Smash game to Youtube (Through connections I got Brawl way early and was the first person on Youtube to cap and upload direct feed footage of the full North American version of Brawl)…
Now that every Tom, Dick, and Harry has a capture device and access to more stores that break street date, it’s become a pipe dream
My channel was the 12th most viewed channel on Youtube the day I started uploading… I never got so much hate mail in my entire life
People who weren’t convinced by the legit, yet whack final characters leak (Toon Link, Star Wolf, etc) spammed my inbox to confirm and put video footage up. Even when I put the clips up, people were still spamming my inbox, telling me that there was no way Geno (Mario RPG) wasn’t on the roster
Ah, good times. To this day, my videos with the most hits and the most regular, consistent flow of comments are my Brawl vids.

So your a One Hit Wonder.
Fitting

Poor children, I hope they got to take home a console each
Just got back from my honeymoon. Been able to keep up with stuff going on through my 3DS but haven’t been able to post. There was a gamestop down in Loisiana that had the Wii U kiosk up that I had to try and I’ll give my impressions on that when I get a chance once I’ve fully settled in.
Wii U hands-on impressions:
Man that Gamepad feels might comfortable in my hands…the whole new kiosk Nintendo has up looks nice but really that pad surprised me when I picked it up. I heard before that it was pretty light but still seeing its size first hand and knowing all everything that’s going on in it is still off setting for me when I pick it up. I tried to see if I could notice the 1 frame lag between the pad and the TV and I couldn’t. If I wasn’t told that there was a 1 frame delay I never would have known. Really liking the way how that dpad looks and feels on it as well and the buttons feel pretty solid. There weren’t any other demos on there besides Rayman Legends and sadly they barely had any trailers for anything else on it…I’m sure that will change soon.
I decide to give Rayman Legends a whirl after after messing with the pad and I found that demo to be pretty damn good. The colors and crispness of everything for that game looked really great on that monitor. I’m pretty sure that game isn’t 1080p from what I remember but damn if it didn’t look good. I thought that maybe the right analog stick and the button placement might throw me for a loop for a couple of minutes but it didn’t. I pretty much adjusted to it within probably the first half minute of playing the game. I played through both the Castle Rock demo and the basic platformer demo where I had to switch off to the bug for the pad. Doing some of those things was slightly difficult because I didn’t realize that I didn’t have to hold my finger on the screen to rotate platforms until later in the stage…other than that everything controls buttery. This only further fuels my want to have this in my hands now and my eagerness to want to see what developers can actually do. /impresssions
SPEAKING OF DEVELOPERS…Random thought here but I think Nintendo needs to be talking to a certain developer who is going to be having a blowout on their game in late Nov. From Nintendo’s stand point in them trying to shed their ‘kiddie’ image for the past few years…if they were able to persuade Rockstar to release GTA V on their platform then that would be the strongest ammo in their arsenal to combat it…if some odd reason the fact that they’re actually publishing Bayonetta 2 and Ninja Gaiden III Razor’s Edge wasn’t enough. GTA V will be one of the biggest multiplat games coming out next year…and for it not to be their console would be giving people more of a reason to hold out on getting one. I’m pretty sure Rockstar is probably reluctant as all out doors to do it…which is why Nintendo is going to have to talk to them. I’m serious Reggie…I don’t know what’s going on in NOA right now but this should be discussed somewhere in there.
Skylanders, Just Dance Wii Bundles Announced
meh…
Nintendo Will Sell Wii U at a Loss
This will be the first time that Nintendo is going to take a loss on a console day 1.
Joe Madureira leeaves Vigil Studios
Profound Sadness came over me when I read this while in Louisiana
IGN put up a video preview for ZombiU for those interested

And a new trailer for NG3: Razor’s Edge got put up

That whole EA Origins thing is a nuisance…but I have a feeling that Microsoft and Sony users aren’t going to get away from this in the future if they haven’t already
Only recently have I been looking at ZombiU since reserving my console. I really like what I’ve seen and heard so far. It is definitely going to be my launch title of choice. The local Multiplayer looks fun as hell too.
Need for Speed Most Wanted confirmed
There’s a Braid Artist that’s creating a comic inspired by Zelda called Second Quest…some of the stuff it will be about intrigues me
Eternal Darkness 2 was in Development
Probably will never happen now.
TTT 2 Wii U Edition will be available digitally and cheaper on eShop in Japan, 17 GB download
Edit:
We got our Wii U kiosk in at my store but we’ve been so busy that we can’t set it up…we just have this big ass box sitting in the middle of the floor that everyone knows what it is.
17GB…Wow! Gonna need a mushroom for that!
Iwata has pretty much confirmed that there will be a Miiverse and Wii U based Nintendo direct that will occur before the Wii U launches through an investor meeting
hopefully more details from the investor meeting should get translated soon.
at this point of the pre-release I’m not really impressed or have high expectations about the technicalities anymore, waiting for first party games to make me hype
I’ve decide to get the deluxe bundle with New Super Mario Bros.U and a Wii U Pro Controller on release day.
I didn’t pre-order, so wish me luck!
Rumor: Splinter Cell Blacklist possibly coming to Wii U
A Gamestop store in Ireland may have goofed…I find this weird that only Gamestops in Ireland seem to have gotten that advertisement but eh whatever.
Details on the Wii U Deluxe Digital promotion have been released
By games and get 10% of that back in points which can then be turned into credit to use for games on the eShop. This is going to be in effect until Dec. 31st of 2014 and all the points have to be converted by June 15 2015. That’s a good chunk of time to rack up possibly 2-4 free games if you buy like an average of 10 games or so a year plus the fact that Nintendo plans to have most retail games up on the eshop at the same time of release so this should be a pretty nice bonus. Those that don’t have the Deluxe Edition though…don’t count towards this promotion.
IGN has a preview of something on NSMBU
Giant enemies and koopalings make a comeback along with some challenge modes including trying to catch a rabbit through some of the stages at the possible risk of your own life and the fact that Bowser Jr. will ambush you at random times on the map.
Edit:
Pitchford of Gearbox and Ancel from Ubisoft both said the Gamepad is great for Hardcore games
Best controller for hardcore games can’t possibly be determined currently…Plus we still don’t know what Sony and Microsoft are going to do come this E3 to combat this.
God speed sir…I suggest you carry extra padding and protection on your sides to fend off the Parents who are going to be trying to find the system for their kids for Christmas. You just might have to perform a few fights to the death in the process. NOTHING…NOTHING CAN PREPARE YOU!

What a shame, no flash plugins.
EDIT: After trying it a little bit at Gamestop I can say I’m impressed by the gamepad screen quality, it’s on a different level from a 3DS or a DS
