What blows my mind is nintendos hand helds and consoles dont have a universal ID system like xbox has with gamertags or playstation with playstation network. its been over 6 years since its incarnation theres no fucking excuse whatsoever at all.

I bought stuff on the wii but i have a problem with it being locked to that single one console the entire time ive had it, never being able to switch it to another. and I dont buy stuff on e-shop or whatever its called for the DS because again, its linked to that handheld. Lose it? break it? tough shit, its all gone, money wasted. non transferable.

I want some DSware games and more stuff from the e-shop. But until that stuff is linked to a nintendo gamertag account and can be redownloaded to any device I own as many times as i need to? fuck it. No online shop purchases off nintendo for me. at all.

Provided that your 3DS isn’t broken, you can actually transfer all existing data from one handheld to the other one.

If it is broken, you can send it to NoA for repairs. I don’t know if they charge (when I sent my Wii they fixed for free) but I believe they can hold onto all of the eShop downloads during repairs.

It is a valid issue though, here is hoping for the Wii U to have an account based system.

I’m pretty certain Sexperienced is making a reference to the Metroid Blast game in NintendoLand that they showcased in the Wii U preview event that starts at about 8:50.

Also Nintendo has been trying to work on this Nintendo Network thing for awhile…Supposedly once everything is ready they’re going to do an update to the 3DS around the time the Wii U comes out. We still still don’t know exact details on it but here’s hoping that things can be a bit more consolidated under 1 ID.

Yeah, I made a mistake. lol. my internet connection cuts off at 1am (UK time), I downloaded the video but watched the entire video after 1am, so I didnt have enough time to correct my post when I realised it wasnt metroid.

Man, when I beat Xenoblade, I thought I was done with it, but I think about that game every day. I started playing it again. Running through the super bosses then I’ll do a new game plus. This is the most fun I’ve had with an RPG since Nier and Valkyria Chronicles.

Well, I think I missed my launch opportunity to grab a WiiU but if this ever came to fruition…I would Falcon Punch my way to a launch WiiU.

Also - needs an option to map Falcon Punch to all available buttons.

Yep, looks like it is coming out Oct 9th for PS3, Vita, and PC. Wiiware and XBLA versions coming out later this year.

Had no clue about a PC release, now I might just pick it up for Steam unless they are going the beef up the Wiiware version for the U…

I say this about every other month but there are way too many good games coming out. MH3UHD screens look beautiful.

Reggie…I don’t blame you in how you’re going about in gauging interest in certain titles. I get it. It’s business. I just hope you also understand that by doing it the way you’re doing it and taking as long as it took for that game to reach over here that you created a double edged sword that didn’t need to be there.

For real. I consider the fact I love The Last Story to the fact I didn’t get into looking about 2 weeks before it came out. If I had been looking forward to it back when it first dropped I’d have lost interest by now and never gotten it. I was lucky to not really have ever looked into it much until right when it was actually going to get released here so the whole thing was fresh and new and tons of great news and interviews an shit to read.

I wish they would stop talking about games a year or more before they come out. I lose interest when they inevitably are delayed or something. Imagine how hyped everyone would be for Bioshock Infinite if they had talked about it at this years E3 when they knew for sure it was going to come out, instead of last years. As it is at this point I’m not nearly as interested in it as i was last year when it was so fresh and new.

Rayman Legends delayed to Q1 2013

They want to polish it further to make sure it lives up to expectations. Kinda sucks but at the same time from a business standpoint this could be a better option. If you’re a platformer and you’re coming out the same time as Mario on Nintendo’s system then that may not be the most wise decision…regardless of opinions on whether it’s better or not.
