I wouldn’t take the opinion of a guy whose job is to be an over critical douche very seriously. ZP’s whole schtick is to find the faults in a game, any game, and then harp on them endlessly. His job is to complain. It’s very funny and a good show, but hardly a building block to stand on when talking about weather a game is good or not. You need more then the rantings of a raving mad man. I sure as shit wouldn’t use him as proof there is lag in the Wii Motion Plus especially after I made the delcaration that it is in fact there. No one else seems to experience this problem. If all you have is anecdotal evidence then don’t declare it as a fact. Need more then “ZP said so!” “I’m sensitive to lag” doesn’t count either because lots of people are, yet no one else has said as much. It’s probably your TV and not the remote.
I also just finished this last night and I think it’s great. One of the few games that makes me glad we purchased a Wii (it, Madworld and Skyward Sword). I plan on starting my NG+ in the next few days. Remixed NG+ is the correct way to do this kind of mode.
Not a fan of NG3 and I don’t see the game getting that much better but if they add more content I’ll definitely consider buying it again especially if the Wii U’s launch games are lacking.
Japan is going to have a second Direct conference tomorrow at 11pm over there…10 AM EDT soooo pretty much the some time that NOA and NOE will be having their first conference.
This one is going to be more focused on 1st and 3rd party software. I’m going to keep expectations low on any surprises but I certainly wouldn’t mind at least one. I’m hoping more P-100 gets shown too.
Edit: Kind starting to get jelly over the fact that I’m working tomorrow morning…
I can’t get over the depth of Wii U’s launch season lineup. Games just keep rising and falling on my wanted list but always well on the radar regardless of rank.
Reggie put up a little video in anticipation for this morning

I’m still trying to decide if I want to stay up to watch Japan’s Direct or not…decisions decisions…I probably won’t since most of the games will be at 10 in the morning.
Decided to stay awake for the Wii U news. Here is some notable stuff
2GBs ram
25GB discs
Two separate Wii U bundles in Japan. One having 8GB hard drive, the other a 32 gig
8 gig basic model will cost 26250 yen, the 32 gig model 31,500. More expensive one comes with HDMI cable and cradles to charge Wii U Pad
Wii U Pro pad (360 looking things) costs 5040 yen
Wii U Pads cost 13440 yen (YO WTF NINTENDO THIS ISH EXPENSIVE)
Launching December 8th in Japan
Yeah…I’d say I’m surprised at that Wii U Pad price but Nintendo said they were expensive to make even with them trying to make them as affordable as possible. These are replacement pads though so long as your kids, pets, drunken friends, or natural disasters don’t fuck up the one you get in the box then all is good. Granted if this does happen though, at least 3 of the 4 can be stuffed in a trunk and driven off a cliff. It also looks like Nintendo is going Sony’s route with online which I can dig. They’re giving people an option to pay a premium online and get money off of purchases.
The conversion of the yen prices for the bundles into dollars $337 and $405…so I’m starting to more believe that amazon rumor now. Come on NOA…give us some nice bundles.
