If they can get DeadMan Wonderland they can get HOTD.That williams street message was pretty old and could get this in later down the road. Besides the ecchi moments can easily be censored (Its mostly in that one episode lol…). HOTD became popular in the west because of the character development and how fast the plot moves in this zombie apocalypse environment. If it was just the ecchi then it would be generic and no would care. Also the violence in that show was just plain awesome. Dub was pretty decent as well so no complains there and the OP sequence is mad hype no lie

Is HSOD even that popular?
The manga wasn’t too bad, because it was different than other zombie media, and characterization came through, especially for the glasses guy.
But, the anime ends before anything that separates HSOD from the other shit made that year occurs.
I think Hell Girl might have a shot sadly I never finished watching the series since for some reason Netflix removed it.

…And yes, the second I saw that lawyer, I knew the kid was SCREWED. I didn’t expect it to be THAT bad, but I knew he was going to jail. yeah, it felt like it was dragging at the start, but now I see why. I may not fap, but I’ll watch the next the next few eps. I’ll bet nobody misses durarara now.

Yes it is, especially the West because the Pilot episode alone(rule of thumb…pilots make it or break it) gathered a mass following. Skullgirls and Lolipop Chainsaw are capitalizing on that with reference palettes/costumes in their game and I know there are other example in media. The manga had potential to be good as Cage of Eden with a similar style but its going out way too slow and like 30 chapters are complete (they might be able to stretch a season 2 if they focus on the mall ark alot but that would be a stretch)
I can see them Licensing the Gintama movie that just got dubbed for some reason in the near future lol
Millenium Actress would also be a good pick, speaking of Perfect Blue.
I was disappointed with Paprika. The trailer looked really promising, but it got caught up in the conventions of anime mindfuckery, and not of the compelling kind either. But that’s just me.
I still need to read A Scanner Darkly, but I liked the movie. It’s eerie seeing the area you grew up around in animated form.
That lawyer when he came talking all cheerful and smiling i already saw the red flags that ganta would get screwed by him lol. Him wearing glasses was the finishing touch.
i got home from work in time to watch some gits and cowboy bebop. i’ve seen the deadman wonderland and casshern sins subs so i didnt feel too bad about it. i kinda hated casshern sins actually. not enough action :C. im glad that toonami is back, especially since i didnt get a chance to see it back in high school when i didnt have cable. but i wish they premiered more new anime
i can see toonami getting the final episodes of inuyasha. there’s adult swim history there.
and they’ll get bonus points if they remake the “shouting each other’s names” promo ad.
In my opinion this was probably the climax hype moment of the toonami block for me when this piece played during the last bit of the Deadman Wonderland pilot

Adult Swim typically reveals them during their bumps on Sunday, but i doubt this sunday. They might also make an official announcement either on the twitter or website, but who knows we have to wait but ALL (yes even the filler bleach episode)the shows on the block managed to trend online due to toonami. I’ll remain optimistic until they reveal the ratings
