OK in twitter Jail lol

…lol but by judging twitter … DEADMAN WONDERLAND got 3rd world trend, CASSHERN SINS got 1st world trend, Alchemist brother hood had 2nd and 5th at the same time (FMA was with it lol) Things are looking good for the ratings. DeadMAN Wonderland dub pilot was pretty good and sh1t went down fast lol. Casshern SINS felt like a good pic it was a good change of pace. Loved the game review of “I AM ALIVE” so perfect… shootouts to the rap song playing at the start. Tom 3.5 and new absolution looks great. Bleach was tolerable its only their because it still gets new episodes and has high ratings. Was impressed by this and I see a bright future for this block :pray:

Casshern sins and toonami was the perfect combination. Its impossible to marathon it, so you just watch it with tom once a week, and its less boring. When I turn off my TV, but leave on the cable box, will they still get the ratings? I plan on hitting the hay after cowboy, which i just gotta know how it looks on Toonami. Hope they bring back the “Will return” bumps after this week.

And lol at Funimation mentioning TvC on twitter. This would have been good for Capcom 2 years ago.

Little tidbit, but this is classic Toonami. There is ALWAYS that one show you don’t wanna watch. I don’t think a generation of toonami has passed without this happening,

AIR GEAR, HERO TALES, MECH ANIME, I can’t WAIT for them to announce the ratings. Might not be as good as a family guy rerun, but it has to be good enough to warrant keeping it around, perhaps moving it back a little bit.

No, it’s pretty great.

Average senien action manga (I’d put it below Alive:The Final Evolution and Drifters, but above Gantz and Mirai Nikki), but great overall.

I would say the BEST seninen manga ever is a five way tie between:Shin Angyo Onishi, Monster, 20th Century Boys, Akira, and Holyland.

it feels like toonami and for that i’m happy.

casshern, given its history, feels perfect for toonami/adult swim. after airing the likes of cyborg 009 and kikaider, more retro hero shows just fit so well with toonami. :smiley:
deadman’s setting and overall bizarre weirdness reminds me a bit of a more recent show in adult swim’s line up: superjail! o_O

i’ll tune in next week.

OK so its on for west coast now; I got this running on the second cycle but damn was I surprised the toonami block literally made the shows somewhat more hype. Also a fan of Casshern Sins and DeadMan Wonderland now
