Gundam AGE is about 30 episodes in. They can try to get the license and have a dub by the time that show is over. They can get a Gundam show that hasn’t been officially brought over here like Double Zeta and Turn A.

Tom… did you forget the abilities of that man? You musn’t forget how he even had us watch naruto. Jesus christ, he does his job well. Now if we can get Godlike Promo Cullen back, plus an animated sara (I am guessing that she is going to be a voice in the ship) you will think that Bleach is actually good. (the story is sub par but the fights are pretty cool)

You do realize that bleach is done in Japan, right? (ep 366 was the last, and the manga is still ongoing) It was cancelled mostly due to poor filler episodes going unwatched. Guess what saturday night is. If you guessed a filler, you are correct(granted, two weeks from now it will be back to the manga storyline).
It will probably make a return eventually, as Tite Kubo considers the whole thing with Aizen to be one arc(yeah, we’re talking everything from episode 40 or so up to like episode 320 is one arc), and he said that he has plans for another, so chances are bleach will be here for a long time, and I think people will want the final fights of the series in anime form. I read the manga, but the anime is too filler-ey for me.
I’ll probably watch it on Toonami for the promos and stuff though.
So Moltar, TOM1, TOM2, TOM3, and THOMas the tank engine? If it was in Cartoon Networks hands any longer who knows what atrocities they would force upon us.
I haven’t seen deadman or Casshern, and i won’t just to get that new episode feeling. Is casshern sins really that boring? I mean, he was my main, i was so excited to hear that he actually had a show. Tatsunoko done fucked up?
actually, subbed anime was played on cable television, ten years ago. the only channel that ever played subbed anime was called the International Channel; i watched the slayers on it.
I thought the International Channel was pretty much deluxe cable package stuff though. I guess there’s an exception.
for a short time - from 2001-2003 - Comcast offered the channel in their basic package tier. one thing that pissed me off about the IC was that there were sporadic schedule changes, so when they moved the Slayers premiers to Friday nights, instead of Sundays, I got pissed. oh, and they aired Try like a year after Next ended, by then, the channel was replaced with Telemundo.
off nostalgia aside, here are the shows that Toonami should never pick up:
***-Fairy Tail. ***Bad show; another run of the mill shounen
-Jormugand. Carbon copy of Black Lagoon, but with a moe paint job and a really gay premise.
-Fate/Zero. Not too bad, it’s good eye candy, but it’s really gay and it will turn off a lot of mainstream viewers
-Boku no Horizon, w/e its called. Another recent turd. props to angelpalm for posting that video in that one FGD thread.
-Soul Eater. The protagonists are dicks, and the show is boring as canned cheese
***-Inuyasha Final Act. This is my personal opinion. Even though AS recently put Ol’ Yeller to sleep, I havve a feeling that this show is going to be on here in the future, possibly this year, in time for Inu’s 10th ani***versary on AS.
-Naruto & Shippuden. Not going to happen anytime soon though because it’s still owned by the competitor Disney. Still no word if Disney wants to give up the rights to the show, seeing as how their secondary channel cannot compete with CN/AS.
-Tom Goes to the Mayor. As much as i love this show, i don’t think it should be on toonami.
Shows that should be on Toonami:
One Piece: Its one peice, nothing really needs to be said.
Hero Tales: Pretty good, and entertaining.
Air Gear: Toonami always did have one not all action show.

DBZ: Its had its run. Let it die. Unless it is a COMPLETLY new series with COMPLETLY NEW characters, keep it away. Yu Yu hakusho never got its time to shine.(Random tidbit, Yu Yu was on adult swim. Then it was on toonami. On April 1st, it was on BOTH at the SAME DAMN TIME)

It’s a really really good show, and I’m happy, because Fate/Night and the Fate series in general always gets to a high point, and drops the ball, this show never does.
I don’t see how it’s “gay”, but whatever.
Soul Eater and Fairy Tail is standard Shounen fare, nothing good, but nothing bad, Inuyasha just needs to fucking stop.
seriously doubt any type moon work would turn off main stream viewers…and also that anyone could afford to air them.
then again if errythings so gay maybe it would turn off the hardcore crowd that’ll watch the new toonami (?)
