Nothing really competes with OG Super Robots like the Cybuster, Neo Granzion, Dikastes.
In a one on one, the R-1 one would get ripped to shreds by the Freedom, same with the Weishander.
But the Neo Granzon would steam roll Gainer.

SRWās Real Robots are dope thoughā¦remember it takes 3-4 real robots to make 1 super robot! SRX! as R-Gun is optionalā¦I forget what Sangers Personal mech is called but itās very high up there for a non-super robot.

This isnāt my guessing, that just how Bandai created the genre.
The Valsion canāt do shit to the Cybuster when itās seriously fighting (In Akaushu or whatever you call it mode)
I was merely joking about Valsion~ as it really is just a framework copy of Cybusterā¦just inferior in almost every way. I havenāt played SRW:OG for PS3 but I Angela got buffed up same with SolGainā¦but SolGain was always Strong. Altessen is the only Real Robot(aside from Bien WissRitter) who can take down Super Robot class stuff without much effort though. SRW:OG for PS2 shown that much.
It ended because everyone would know what would happen, Thru would attack again, Alt would go down.
The Alt can go fight, but heāll eventually lose.(The only reason the Alt can keep up in the first place is because Kyoskue is piloting it)
Sanger would win over a FEW supers in MELEE combat, but most of the super would crush him still.
The only person who pilots a semi Real Robot and can actually win is Latooni in the Fairlion.
Gainax making NGE and TTGL isnāt that random at all. Theyāve been making giant robot anime for years and have a penchant for going postal. TTGL is exactly the kind of thing you should expect from them.
Also as someone who despises the NGE show and first movie, the rebuilds are off to an AMAZING start. I will be really pissed at SWBeta when Anno trolls our asses again.
I think Toonami would do well to air Eureka 7 (againā¦i think they aired it before right?) and use that as momentum to air the sequel series AO which is in season right now. It would be something from back in the day they could use to lead into new content.
Well those free mode battles are seriously Rigged o_O like the one with SolGain and Nacht Altā¦yeaā¦total BS. but to be fair at max lv. the Alt isnāt that high but itās enough(and with the right skills and weapon setup) to 1 shot Neo Granzon with Revolving Stake/Claymore special. But i was wondering if you was going by canonical material because in the storylineā¦Kaizer G-Compatible is all you need at that pointā¦
Yeah, weāre going by canon, here, since we were talking tier lists.
If weāre talking meta game, all weapons unlocked, level maxed, then I would put my money on Latooni because she never ever gets hit ever.
She can pilot both Super and Real robots, has an unfair evasion rate (almost 100% WITHOUT sense), and her damage and defense with the right mech allows her to literally go out into any and every mission alone, and wrap it up in about 10 minutes.

Well to be fair Princess Shine is pretty much the same thing without T-Link, but if itās maxxed out everything Iāll take the gamble with SRX or even Bein WeissRitter in critical health as Excellen Can 1 shot damn near any boss in the whole game. But canonical speakingā¦thoughā¦I canāt sayā¦but I still think Beowulf is retarded strongā¦for no reason.
Edit: about NGEā¦Iām indifferent about the original series as I own it and still watch it from time to timeā¦it has itās moments, thats for sure~
Princess Shine is shit compared to Lattoni, sheās mid tier at best.
Her accuracy isnāt half as good, her evasion isnāt as a third as good, no t-link, her Real Robot skills are ass, her Fairlion G is ass compared to the Fairlion S.
Sheās there just for Latooni to get a robot of her own, and Royal Heart Breaker, which, even then, Latooni takes control of her Fairlion and does all the work.
It would be cool if Toonami managed to get the Read or Die tv series. Adult Swim aired the OVAs as a movie years ago. The TV series has a good balance of action and comedy that would fit the block.
Latooni is better then alot of Pilots though, I believe shes the best out of the kids from āthe schoolā soā¦itās goes without saying. Shineās evade skills can be boosted though(iāve done it) so she isnāt that bad. Then again, I like using Lamia soā¦I guess it no surprise there.
