I would love to see fairy tail,fate stay night and (if dubbed) fate/zero and maybe a not so popular anime that people dont know or care for to maybe spark something but mainly I want fairy tail even though alot of people here my or may not like it

I kind of want Ben-To, maybe Ranma if they want cheap licensing, or Persona 4 animation.
Adult Swim had Paranoia Agent. That was a mindfuck series.
It would be sweet of Toonami got some new classic anime. I felt that Slayers would be a perfect fit for Toonami.
Paranoia Agent was more postmodernist than mindfuck.(Though it DID do a fantastic job of bashing escapism like it needed to be.)
Satoshi DOES make some mindfucking shit, though, like Paprika and Perfect Blue.

Even as many times as Iāve watched all the movies, tv series etc., if Slayers were to appear on Toonami in any form, Iād watch yet again.
Slayers is still my favorite anime series of all damn time.
Only for comedy? Or is it for something more?
Slayers is fucking amazing. Great characters, the world felt like it came straight out of an awesome PS1 RPG (itās hard to explain if youāve never seen it), and it just gets more epic over time as more characters are introduced and more battles are fought.
Oh yeah, and motherfucking Xellos, that is all.
Sentai Filmworks has alot of great new anime under their licencing, check them out if you havenāt already, but CN should look into doing a joint collaboration with them and do something on the lines of Crunchyroll except having a dubbed version out very quickly. This would be amazing because we would watch new anime thats only about one season ago. This anime season has hella good stuff airing and it being fully dubbed in the summer would be fantastic.
really though, we should get some good mid-90ās anime in there too. I vote for a really good OVA series by the name of Gun Smith Cats, I love me some Slayers but You have to be committed to itā¦so if they did do Slayers, I would want them to run the āwholeā series. That and please get me some āyour already deadā HNK~
Gunsmmith Cats OVA would be dope. They could run it as a movie.
Oh man, there is so much I could go on about the entire Slayers universeā¦ the comedy is definitely my favorite point (especially in the Lina/Naga OVAs), but it can somehow seamlessly go from comedy to tragic without skipping a beat, which to me is rare - especially in anime. But Goten summed it up pretty well, itās just such a well-built world! I am not lying when I say that once I learned just how much thought went into even Slayerās magic system, it inspired me to put that kind of detail in my writing:

I would want to cut down on the fan serviceā¦itās why I donāt mention stuff like Tenjho Tenge or Ikki Tousen Xetreme Xecutioner(yes itās spelled like that), however Maji Ohā Samurai girls and Horizon in the middle of nowhere work for me, Medaka Box seems like itās going to be running for a while since the manga slowed down and is serialized out here now too~
but I say check out Jormungand (yes itās a mouth full) as itās an anime about Arms Dealers, ZetMan is a cool Dark Hero story, and Haiyoru! Nyaruko-san is just lulzā¦

Friends of mine were REALLY trying to get me to watch it. I watched about half an eppy and was like ābleh.ā
Not that it was bad per sayā¦ overall it seemed alright. Iām just extremely tired of Zombies. And bolding the word āextremelyā still doesnāt fully express how sick of the "zombie
To your point though, Iām not surprised by that either.
I didnāt like black lagoon at all >_>ā neither season was good imo~ In fact I can at least go back and watch select episodes of Witchblade then going back to black lagoonā¦but me not liking it maybe because I dislike Hellsing as well(including ultimateā¦fuck imaginary number BS)
I think itās a state of opinion then it being a consensus of it being a bad anime or series out rightā¦itās not the first FMA animeā¦god forbid we speak of that again.
@Roknin, the high school of the dead manga is better, less obligatory fan service and more action and stuff~ itās paced better imo but that is debatable. If I had to say a anime a few seasons ago to watch, Steins Gate would be one~ Itās Sci-fi and suspenseā¦thats the only way I can really describe it~ aside it being very epic at times.

Only if they air all of itā¦as itās one of the most epic mech shows likeā¦EVER. Well youāll see that once you get past all the Gurren Lagann dick riders who had not seen much in that particular genreā¦
but then again, iāve seen most mech shows and my opinion is very biasā¦soā¦eh.
Iām behind on mech shows in general. Any good ones outside of the obvious that I should be looking for? Iām rewatching Gundam Wing and G-Gundam right now . . . and of course GaoGaiGar 'cause itās awesome.
