Full Metal Panic. If I remember correctly, it was original going to air on Adult Swim, but they had to nix it due to the first few episodes dealing with terrorists hi-jacking a plane with hostages and it being too soon in regards to 9/11.
Which is a damn shame, because Full Metal Panic is just one of those anime that is ideal for broadcast. High-school fan-servicy shenanigans on one side, and highly-technical military action with giant robots on the other - it’s like if Gundam Wing and Tenchi Muyo did the fusion dance. I can think of no one I’d rather watch this with than TOM.
Oh, and fuck Inuyasha. I remember leaping for joy when they announced that the series was finished, and then being filled with profound sadness (and rage) when the next time they just started over from the beginning. And that was back when I was still in college.
Full metal Panic is great, second season is just comedy gold.
On some real shit though, I thought Zoids sucked. I had one toy, but I don’t remember having much fun with it.
Don’t get me wrong, it had potential, but remember anything about it except it being Gundams with animal mechs in the desert.
Did I miss anything with not watching Medabots and Cardcaptors?
if they bring back toonami they better bring back ALL the turn of the century stuff that made them great (looking at you, web premiere toons)

Cardcaptors was basically Pokemon combined with Yugioh. It starts kinda slow but things pick up loosely once Lee joins the cast.
While I’m thinking about, I don’t think nobody mentioned Batman Beyond on Toonami. I think that was a great pickup.

Anyone else like how they used the cooler Tom (Tom 3 I think) and not the dumb looking handle bar Tom? Also, if this ever comes back, I suggest they start off with some newer anime (Fairy Tail, Hitman Reborn etc.) and do some older anime reruns.
