I remember when I would get home from school and record Sailor Moon on old vhs tapes. School ended at around 3:35pm? so I had to get home quick. I think I ended up recording all of S and Super S only missing like part of one episode.

And they should just reprint the DVD’s already. I would think the greed/money made from it would be enough to get them to do it. Or is it just another case of japan still hates us for WWII seriously?

It’s Anime not being the money maker people think it is. Stop downloading and buy the DVDs. Give them a reason to print them.

That leaves me to believe that maybe Toonami will come back, but it will come on at 12am and show those shows. I mean, I’m ok with that. Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell and some new stuff too. I would totally be cool if that was the schedule, as long as they mix it up with the old anime. Show some Tenchi Muyo every now and then. Show some Outlaw Star or some Ruroni Kenshin. It could totally work.

no it was the one after SVES. It had Fuzors and shit. Toonami Rules/Runs Saturday Nights I think. TDK I could be wrong

The only reason to watch Adult Swim on Sunday nights recently was Boondocks but we gotta wait awhile more for Season 4. Loiter Squad will get them 14yo “rebellious” OF loving teens to watch. I wouldn’t be mad if Toonami was at 12 every weekend night.

I have like 100+ anime DVD’s on my shelf too. Used to own the now REALLY rare Gunsmith Cats DVD, spent over $100 on that Lodoss TV DVD set in 2001, complete Street Fighter 2 V DVD set, and some others.

not only was toonami brought back, but they kinda chose some really great action packed episodes for their line up, cell saga TOO GOOD

I agree, the problem though is that the only thing that was getting big numbers was Bleach and that was like at the most 300k. Hopefully, toonami did more than 500k so it can warrant a Toonami revival.

You know, now that I think about it, there were a lot of cliffhanger episodes or first episodes. or like 7k pointed out, episodes that had never aired before. This must have been some sort of test run to see if we were still interested.
