Yeah, but it seems to imply that one is already up, or at least it does to me. Anyways, I only asked because I’ve heard it multiple times this week and it sounded odd to me.
Theoretically, you should already be standing up, fighting for something, so getting up more times than you’re knocked down would be a reasonable assumption for such a phrase. Don’t over think it too much. It’s just one of those “take more punches than the other guy can throw” phrases that holds true for most Shonen action heroes.
Just keep going, never say die, never show defeat. It’s not just a battle of your soul, it’s the battle of everyone’s souls, the ones who believe in you and the ones who don’t even know you exist. You cannot be defeated, not here, not now, not in this place so you get up and keep fighting. Show your Shonen Resolve, and why in the end, it always pulls through.

Ah, this episode of Cowboy Bebop. Containing the only man to ever beat Spike in a hand to hand fight. This is where I start getting sad in the series, since only sad things tend to happen at this point.

So random question: I hear the Cowboy Bebop manga has a different story. Everyone and their mother has seen the anime and praises it of course, but I never hear anything of the manga, so whats it like? Any real plot differences? Art style? Etc?
