Im saying the main reason we lost is bc of our anchor. Gaitlin is the fastest american. It should been him and bolt…not bolt racing a guy that got fifth in the individual 100. Our strategy was flawed. We went with other guy for the anchor bc he has long legs like bolt and they obviously wanted him to match strides with him…but in the end he just wasnt fast enough to begin with.

Happy they didn’t win the 2008 Olympics and hoping they don’t pursue, or if they do, win any future bids. I’d rather the province and its taxpayers ie. us not take 25 years to pay off the debt incurred for hosting a 2-week party where there are nightly sex parties and not a single sex tape or picture is leaked. However if the city’s organizers plan to sell the Olympic orgy tapes to help offset the cost then maybe I could get behind the idea.
I don’t know why these places putting in bids for the Olympics don’t think about this stuff beforehand. As soon as I heard Athens was getting a bid that sounded like a disaster waiting to happen.
