20th Anniversary Tales of Orchestra Concert Album, it was released earlier this year… If you like Tales music you should listen to these remixes.
They remixed some of my favorite song in the series and they’re all insanely great!

Why remaster when you can just lazily port a ps3 game to the ps4 and people will still pay full price for a next gen game that has zero difference.

So, I really liked Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia, they had really good combat systems and I had alot of fun just doing battles (Tales of Hearts R was ok).

I bought Tales of Zesteria but is it just me or is something,vastly different in this battle system? I only played it for 2 hours but I didn’t feel like I had the freedom like I did in Vesperia and Symphnoa, can someone break down how the battle system works? I dont get it.

Zesteria was a bit lackluster. I preferred both Xillia games to Zesteria. I’m a going be a hypocrite. I’m annoyed with all the remasters but I’d buy a Tales of Vesperia remaster in a heartbeat.

Especially when the PS3 version will out sell it by a landslide, in its country of origin.

Normally that shit would annoy me but the censored version is a little cooler. It seems more like some kind of sacrificial ritual than the Japanese version, but the japanese version has a bit more of a grounded darker tone.

I don’t really have an issue with either, but the fact that they went to such lengths to alter a cutscene worries me about what else would be altered, and to what extent.

As a company, Bandai Namco Entertainment has to follow the regional regulations regarding video games content to allow the games to be released with appropriate rating. The violence depicted in the original Japanese scene in Tales of Berseria would not allow us to keep our current 16 rating. A major change in our rating wouldn’t have allowed to share the game with as many fans as we’d like and it would have prevented us many opportunities to show the game on social networks, websites and even during events. Therefore, instead of deleting the sequence, we decided to rework a portion of the scene to keep its importance in the story. We’ve ensured its impact in the story is the same. Even if the exact actions are different, their consequences are exactly the same: the defining moment changing Velvet’s Story and opposing her to Arthur Collbrande, the moment it becomes a tale of emotions versus reason. We made this modification out of necessity, be sure of that.

If that is the only change…I’m okay with that.

I messed around with the demo a bit. I’m not a graphics whore. It doesn’t look terrible but it’s clearly a PS3 game in 1080p. We are on year 4 of the PS4. When are we getting a PS4 Tales game?

Yeah everything is unforgivably low res considering what the PS4 can handle, most notably Velvet’s monster arm. That arm looks pretty fucking bad.

Just wanna say though that at level 25(the locked level in the demo), Magilou is fucking BUSTED. Like, high level Rita from ToV, busted. Her break Arte is retarded if you roll Gravity Gale or her Flame Cyclone thing.

Also I very much enjoy the ability to tag in sub characters in this game. The only other game I played was Vesperia, and it was kinda lame how the rest of the roster not in my main lineup never saw any action. But now I can swap people out if they get low instead of using items or if they die and shit like that. I feel like this feature will make boss fights more entertaining. Honestly though I beat the demo boss on the first try and I barely put in any effort. He just got dunked on. I also wish the party bars were larger or more visible. I pretty much never looked at the health bars because I forgot they were there.

Yeah, the demo made the battles seem really easy. I didn’t really feel the need to do anything creative either.
