I decided to join the paint splatter crew and redid my Chun art. Here’s the result:

I’m going to get some black buttons, and I already have a black mesh balltop. 
That looks great although wouldn’t you want to use another Chun Li pic? I’m just not a fan of the SF4 pics. There are better ones imo that would give a template much more style.

Ok. This is my very first attempt at this ever. I spent quite a while on it… yet… I’m not really entirely satisfied with the placement. that darn dust cover seems to ruin it all at the moment…

Shiki I don’t think the dust-cover will hurt it too badly. If you used clear buttons, you could move the art down or to the right a bit…
Oh shit. Melty Blood. Such a goooood game. And of the two Lens! The way I see it for the templates are your main showcase is the big space just below the stick and to the left. That’s where you want things to stand out the most. And that TM will get you no dice on prints so you may want to think of getting rid of that.

The problem with the using of the space below the stick and to the left is the size of this particular art. Sure, it’s actually pretty high res which saved me a lot of trouble, but the placement of the two Lens doesn’t really let me drag it around a whole lot before i reach the edges.
I’d do the clear buttons, but partially, I feel really hellbent on modding in some blue and white sanwas… that, and I think clear seimetsu buttons are out of stock, and I’m not entirely confident on my craftsmanship ability (this will be the first time I attempt to really do anything to a joystick like this) to get the art inside the buttons. It’d be neat though.
Is there such thing as a transparent/clear dust cover anywhere? or then again, I’d assume it wouldn’t be too hard to make one, huh?

I was just wondering. I’ve seen that art of chun li in her alternate costume for street fighter IV: who drew that? (fan art?) and where can I get a higher res of it? Its really nice.
A suggestion/request, could one of u totally awesome Photoshop Guys (likkuid/kuroshin) include “Clear” buttons(and btn bezels not shown in kuroshins posts from page 2), and also at least the sanwa black battop into the layers please. and repost
You guys already got the first two things I needed changed (the plate bezel and the sides colored) but still need the clear buttons and the battop to finish my mocked up vision.

I was going to go with this theme for my dual Madcatz standard sticks. However, could anyone here tell the easiest way to recreate the patented SFIV ink splotch effect in photoshop? I want to try adding that effect and seeing how it looks.

I know you can get the hi-res versions of the official SF4 art at www.kawaiidream.net. You have to create a free account to access them. The only bad thing is the bottom-right of each picture has a kawaii dream watermark on it (for some pics its easy to remove, for others… not so easy)

I have a request for a minimalistic B&W Akuma template for the SE stick with maybe some black ink splotches for the buttons. A .tiff would be greatly appreciated.
