Can anyone make this for the SE stick?

md72582 posted in http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=179687 about his handful of polycarbonate top sheets for the TE stick. They were first come first serve and I believe all gone.
A while back, I posted a place online to get a 1/16" thick piece of acrylic cut, but 1/32" poly is better. It won’t crack and is thinner so as no to stick out higher than the red trim of the TE stick.
There are two places online you can get these.
http://www.laseralliance.com/index.php?pg=quote is where I first went. It cost me $32 which included shipping.
http://www.bclaserworks.com/drawings.html is another one I got. It cost $12 plus shipping, which was less than Laser Alliance, but I feel LA’s cut was much better. The laser used to cut the poly at both places can leave burn marks…or at least it is possible for there to be burn marks. LA’s did not have any.
Go with the first option.
The files you’ll need are a dxf file, which is for the program AutoCad, a blueprint type plotting software program. Or an Adobe Illustrator file, an .ai, will work too. I’ve posted both of these files on www.dcorti.com/TETemplates
Like md72582 mentions in his post, the cut is like 95% accurate. What that means is, when you put the buttons in and the screws in, it seems to pinch the poly and in some spots or should I say spot (where your right palm rests) there is the slightest of slight puckering. I got around this by simply taking a razor and scraping the button holes and screw wholes to make them all of like 1mm larger. If that.
That solved the issue. Sorry I don’t have pics. I’ll get them up tomorrow to show you all.
I’m very satisfied and I can print artwork all day and slide it in when ever…(by slide i mean unscrew, pick up the top sheet, take out the buttons, put art on, put buttons back on, screw back together…but you get it)
Anyway, I hope this info and websites help anyone else looking for a clear option. It helps alleviate having to get your work printed on a particular paper or laminated.

Tons of people seem to use this artwork for their sticks so I guess it’s not so unique but oh well. Here’s my SE stick. I’d like to find out who originally did this artwork.

according to a member here, any TE template should fit on a SE template. You have to trim off more from the sides is what i understood from his reply. So you would lose some artwork from the sides if there was any

I don’t know why the TE didn’t just come with a polycarbonate top anyway… production costs? 
But yeah, after that warranty period wears off I’m lookin’ into one of these babies…

I like it so far no parts yet. Im gonna have an Orange or Yellow bubble top all the punch buttons will be clear yellow all the kicks be clear orange
