The Official Street Fighter IV TE/SE Fighstick Template Thread

Was thinking of something more gray and dark but don’t want to be too picky for my first stick.

And sucks that you don’t have the .psd file.

Either way it looks good. Thanks.

Are you guys getting permission to use those deviant art pictures? We got to make sure we are respecting & supporting the artists out there.

Well I know I at least ask the Deviant Artists if I can use their stuff for doing my Art Template.
I don’t know about you others.

Can you make a TE template with just the background?

Cool, just saying in general since i’m seeing a lot of art request with deviantart links. I’m refusing to do a template for someone if the person doesn’t have proof that they got permission from the original artist.

Good stuff!

Like it better than the other one. Still keeping the first one in case I still want to use it.

Thanks. I appreciate it.

Here you go Matty, hope it’s ok. Didn’t know what theme you wanted to go with and etc so I just threw something together. I’m pm’ing you the download link.

Yea!! I’m also lookin forward to it!!

Well, I don’t mean to disrespect anyone, but does it matter as long as it’s only being used for personal reasons (like people aren’t selling their templates or something). I mean, it’s not like people are asking capcom’s permission every time they stick a capcom or sfIV logo on their template are they? I guess if you’re doing a template for someone else you can’t be sure what they’ll do with it, but if you’re just using it in your own home it shouldn’t be that big of a deal.

Talking about original creations. Some people are posting links to images from deviantart pages that have the download option disabled. That means the artist does not want anyone using it without their permission. So i’m only respecting those artist that work hard on their original work. I would want the same done for my stuff too.

Somebody please post this .PSD!!

I need this in my life.

ok i know its not the right size or nething but some of u guys can do some pretty impressive stuff on photoshop. Can sum1 PLEASE make an SE template out of this but without that name in it

that’s WAY to small.

Why not look?

But then you want .psd file.
Why did I even answer?
I’m sorry then.
I’m stupid. :crybaby:

You’re not stupid :shake::sweat:

Well I agree it’s the nice thing to do, but to make an argument that somehow the capcom/sf logo are not ‘original creations’ doesn’t make sense to me. Another artist still created them whether they did it for a corporation or not it’s pretty much all the same. We didn’t create them but we are using them, so to me it’s exactly the same. Like I said, I would see a necessity to ask if you were going to profit off of it or something, but taking any image you find on the internet and using it for personal reason in your own home doesn’t hurt anyone. I guess I could see your point as far as posting it up for other people to download (since you don’t know for sure what others will do with it), but if the person posting it got it, then there’s really nothing stopping anyone else from getting it either. To me it’s more of an issue if you are benefiting or profiting off of someone elses work somehow and the original artist is being cut out of that.

You didn’t quite understand what I meant. Capcom made their logos and characters available to the public to use as long as you don’t plan to profit of it. They actual recommend/enjoy the idea of people doing this (note: how easy it is to mod the TE’s thanks to their influence.)

But some people are posting links to pages that you have to screenshot and then edit to get the image because the artist has disabled the download feature. This means that the artist does not want anyone to use their art without their consent. As a fellow artist, I am merely respecting their wishes and handling the situation as if it was my own art.

The difference between the two is one is released to the public to be used while the other is only on showcase to be viewed.
