No it’s red. Vermillion is more orangish.

Made a shikamaru template, not totally happy with it, but its a start:

Alright, first time trying this after getting all the info I could from SRK. It didn’t turn out TOO bad, the cuts were awful, but it still looks good lol. Now I know what to do next time… Here’s what I did…

  1. Chose art/template
  2. saved it on flash drive
  3. take it to kinko’s and ask for it to be printed on 90lb. MATTE cardstock
  4. Trimmed the outer edges using their badass cutting machine thing LOL wish I had one of those.
  5. asked to put on “lamilabel” but all they did was laminate it, but good enough
  6. take it to the cutting machine thing again, trim all the edges u can
  7. At home, you still need to trim the corners, the turbo area, joystick area, and all the buttons.

My question is how do you guys cut out the parts on the inside of the art? it was difficult doing it by hand, and resulted in a few imperfections, but it’s acceptable in my terms. I know Arthong does laser cuts, but what about the guys that didn’t order art from him?

I really like this art but I’m terrible at photoshop and I can’t make it work. Could someone come up with a template or something similar, again for the same SE stick above…

I have zero idea how to use photoshop beyond some minor editing, can someone either make this into a TE template for me please or let me know how, I’d really appreciate it.

it’d be great if i could get the letters for the buttons on there too for a 360 stick :bgrin: if no one wants to do it i’ll do it myself if someone will just tell me how to use photoshop before my trials runs out

I know its not for a se but you guys seem to do amazing stuff with ps, would anyone be able to fix up my artwork and make it look less, boring? maybe slant the logos and make them around the same size? and im not too big on the orange/red of eveything and plain background maybe try diff colors or make the logos all the same color or something?

Thanks silent, it looks good but now she is skinny and the stick will cut off the pic of her nailing Fei Long, but you have given me an idea. I will post a new template if I can get it to go the way I want to…

wow that was fast, thanks! I’m just wondering if there’s a way to make the button layers fit in more with the art, but I don’t really know what would look good myself. Also I laughed when i realized that the A button is going to cut out the center of the stomach perfectly but there’s really nothing that can be done about that.

Regarding printing I was probably going to try to get a high quality print done somewhere here in town just to make it easy on myself.

Thanks for making it man, and thanks to art for the plexi and a couple of shops for the buttons/mesh. and even a seller here on the forums lol, was a bit tough getting all the buttons.
