You should put the three colors on one layer (if they aren’t there already) and then smudge or blur the parts where the colors are supposed to transition.
If you need an SF4 Chun-Li render I have one in another thread, it’s friggin’ huge and it’s in the SF4 artwork thread in IMM. If you still can’t find it I’ll reupload it or something.
thanks silent I appreciate it. Its good
Your image isn’t even at 300 DPI. Try that first.
here is my completed TE stick that i finish modding. hope ya like, i might be changing the art though.
i would print it as a pdf, tell them to print it on legal paper. landscape it, 300 dpi, use the cmyk colors. tell them to print it in high res. If youcan’t get them to print it. There’s a guy here djbordie who can print it for you. After the print tell them to lami-label it.
You can get clear seimitsu buttons and cut it out do a full round cut… if you have the TE you can just take off the faceplate and use that as your guide… go here to learn how to add art to the buttons: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=132705.
They should have red clear buttons or whatever color you want… you can get white with black rim at lizard lick, just google that.
I’ll PM the link.
once i have finished the cover you are welcome to use it
nice i like it
you shouldn’t give up
pratice makes perfect
Nice! Good job. Just one thing, your shaft cover is on upside down…
is it really? it dont look like it… they look same both side i mean
What did you use to paint the red strip around the template?
rust-oleum paint for plastic
hey anyone here have a problem with the lamilabel being too thick for the buttons to fit? two of my buttons didnt snap in all the way; do you think they might slip out? theyre still flush with the top.
EDIT: wait, i think its the buttons. one of the pushtabs doesnt spring back anymore… is this something i should be worried about?
Having a hard time finding directions for modding/changing the art on the TE stick. Looks I may get a TE instead of an SE and I have no idea how it is done on the TE. Would someone be so kind as to point me in that direction? Thank you.
I finally settled on a design and put it on my stick. I wanted to go with something simple that matched the white SE case and the grey Sanwa parts I’m using. Replicating the Champion Edition font/coloring was a pain in the ass:
Trust me they’re different.
I can tell the difference between all my children.
:lovin:
One side is wider than diameter than the other…
You can easily tell the difference by placing it in the hole of the dust cover. You’ll see one fits in a lot tighter than the other.
This thread is flipping awesome. Would love to see one that uses sketch art from the SF art books out there.
Hello All,
Man I was inspired by this thread to make something for myself. Once I finish I will post it here so others can use it.
I know its not street fighter, but what do you think?
I need some ideas or help for a back drop and graphics. Would anyone be willing to lend a hand? I’m very noobish in photo shop.
My email is mre102r@yahoo.com please contact me or post here is you can help out. Thanks!
Well, it only took from late February to just about an hour ago to be able to say that I’m done. But…I’m done! Here’s the artwork for my Soundwave TE stick. Pics of the final product are in the custom stick thread.
Oh, and Megaprime hows 'bout a backdrop of Cybertron in the back? Just big enough to bridge the gap between Megs and Prime, but small enough that it doesn’t take up the whole background. Just an idea.
use the search fucntion. or search on youtube. im sure someone made a video on how they’ve open the TE and gave a little hint on how to apply it. Otherwise, just read from the very beginning of the thread.
Can you please post the print size file and the original image of this one?.
Thanks a lot! :wonder:
