He’s not the only one I’ve seen. Sick avatar btw!
Marvel:
*Dr. Octopus (Badass villian. Would probably have the most unique fighting style in the game)
*Sabertooth (I just wanna call Birde out and shoot people)
*Gambit (Everyone loves Gambit)
Capcom:
*M. Bison (He is the absolute root of Evil for Capcom and is probably the most popular villian in the Capcom franchise)
*Jedah (I think he’d make a badass villan as well. And with the right voice actor, he can definitely gain some fame in the states)
*E. Honda (I just think this would be extremely funny. Very first sumo in a vs. game LMFAO!!! )
Marvel:
Psylocke
Cable
Spiral

Honorable mentions: Capcom - Jedah is cool and is good counterpart to Carnage. Even though deconfirmed, Power Stone’s Falcon/Wang Tang would be neat addition. Plain, but better than Jill right? Marvel - Blackheart and Thanos are awesome villians, but might be overkill. Dr. Strange is awesome and Dormammu and Shuma are in, also good DLC option.

Red Arremer (also known as Firebrand)

Gene
Marvel:
Rogue
Not only a personal favorite in the comics, her power/skill-stealing ability made her an interesting addition back in XvSF - although she was removed in later games since it’s hard to steal abilities when they consist on equipment, as in Iron Man’s case, MvC2 seemed to have worked around this decently. I figure it’s worth letting her back in and maybe reviewing her move list while at it.
Nightcrawler
Between the agilty and teleporting abilities, he’d probably have a pretty interesting moveset and wouldn’t lack ways to deal with the expected projectile and beam spamming one can expect.
Howard the Duck
Why should only Capcom use cartoonish designs? He seems to fit the setting and Capcom could get creative with his moves.
Capcom:
Dhalsim
His stretching was always a good fit to the Versus game, and since Dr. Strange is unlikely to make, he’d be a good fit against the likes of Shuma Gorath and Dormammu like in that one ending (MvSF, I think…)
Talbain/Gallon
A good balance between technical and over-the-top moves, not to mention the DS games could use some crossover representation that isn’t female every once in a while
Tessa/Tabasa
Also a good fit for the setting and mechanics.
Didn’t vote for Gene since to me he’d be more at home as a special guest in TxSF - he has a few over-the-top abilities, but in the middle of lots of carefully pondered normals, so he’d be not unlike a SF character in a Tekken game… Still, a close call…
I will fuse the Red Arremer & Firebrand votes in the final count since he’s basicly the same character.
You should probably fuse all the characters from small franchises together, all the Power Stone all the Killer 7 etc…

(Note to OP: Many thanks for the work you’re puttin in man.)
Hmm… should dead characters be allowed (Nightcrawler, cable?) I mean, don’t they have like a lower chance of marvel’s approval than any character else?
There’s one fatal flaw in this: Gene isn’t from Street Fighter lol.
Maybe if it were Capcom x Namco
Uhhh… Phoenix and Wesker?
