We need an icon for the GGPO desktop client. What’s GGPO? http://ggpo.net/online

Contest Rules.

  1. Attach submissions to this thread
  2. All submissions must include sizes at 16x16, 32x32, and 48x48
  3. Bonus points for also supplying a 400x400 version, this is not a requirement though.
  4. Contest ends midnight, Friday July 13th.
  5. Prize: Great honor. Your icon will be seen by everyone who plays on GGPO.

Helpful Hints

  1. Remember, this is an application icon. It should look good on the desktop.
  2. GGPO is a networked gaming application. It would be nice if your icon took that into account.
  3. Your versions at different sizes don’t have to be identical. For instance, if your icon is an image of Ryu, you could do his whole body at 32x32, but maybe just his head at 16x16 (note that an icon that’s just Ryu is not going to win this contest :D)

Excellent.

I’d suggest smoothing out the globes in both the “G’s,” and possibly a larger globe behind that.

And possibly a reference to shoryuken.com, kind of advertising for here a lil bit?

I’ll admit its crude as fuck but I tried to get in here as quicly as possible. I just want to convey the idea for now and I’ll Redraw/vectorize it later. Feedback is always welcome.

I would axe the peace sign and just put GGPO on there. But I like the stick idea.
