Eggman Devil Ray boss fight was mad ingenious. Its prolly the most fun I’ve had on a boss fight in this game by far.
man it was like a shmup. Probably one of the most innovative boss battles I’ve experienced.
I heard the final boss music and it was sick. I’ve been humming the shit all day.
what are guys playing it on? i went to buy it on the 18th for the 360 but the gamespot said they wont have it till friday so i just payed in full… cant wait till tomorrow… hope i dont get disappointed like i did with sonic next gen :shake:
If the 360 version is anything like the wii version then you should be pleased. There are issues for sure and the opening has an unfavorable balance of werehog to hedgehog but its still very fun. I’m most likely going to pick up the ps3 or 360 version, whichever is better, as well. I want to see that hedgehog engine in action.
Man I’m having a blast playing this game, Werehog is pretty dope haha. I like his platforming and mix of DMC,GoW,NG, SWTFU gameplay. Going out to eat for my birthday but I’ll post up more later.
Granted I’m not very far but is there anyway to replay old levels to hunt for items I might have missed? So far the story just keeps pushing me forward without much choice in the levels I can choose to play.

Check the world map, go back to any previous area, and select stage. Also, throughout the whole game, you will unlock more stages in previous levels so check back often.

I fought Chun-nan boss not too long ago but I don’t think i’ve fought Spagonia boss yet. I think the game is slightly non linear almost just as long as you have the key for that continent. The last stage I played before I stopped and played judgement with RSoul was the daytime stage that was like a park with outside tables and chairs and stuff (can’t remember the name currently) THAT shit was crazy with me trying to react to everything as I was moving lol. I need to try it again cause I ended up getting a B on first try.
Ok I’ve gone through the supposed hell that was the big werehog part that you have to go through…I can agree somewhat with what reviewers were saying about it but at the same time after getting used to how he plays and trying different ways of dealing with enemies I honestly don’t think it’s as horrible as they were trying to make it out be. No doubt Werehog is the weakest part of this game but I’ve actually been having fun clearing the stages (so far I’ve S ranked 3 of em). Those fuckin bee type enemies that show up are annoying but usually there are crates around…Crates = Bee B Gone in this game.
So far from where I stand Onslaught this game is solid. It has problems no doubt but it’s pretty fun.

Sonichuman: The stage with the park benches is Spagonia, and I’ve got to say at first I was weary about rehashed levels with with missions but they manage to make it work…ooohhh just wait til you get to the boss for that level, 2d shmup + sonic, nuff said.
Mazuri boss fight was so fucking awesome haha, wow.
I am so tempted to upload that stage with Star Soldier music I swear. Also, waiting to get to Empire City but I’ll play it after school when I get a chance to.

something that they did that was pretty cool that I didn’t realize till after reading this and watching the intro cutscene again…They actually put Sonic’s mouth to one side like in the 2d sprites.
Eggman gets brownie points in this game for doing one of the most non cliche bad guy things ever lol

Yeah I hate Chip. But then, the story in general sucks so w/e. Gameplay is fun, that’s what i wanted.
Chip’s captain obvious moments wouldn’t be so bad if the game didn’t just stop when he starts talking.
