When you’re playing with a partner you have to be a lot more coordinated on your tag cancels and general teamwork.
By yourself, you control all the cancels and don’t have to worry as much about the other guy.
Plus, if you’re in a double team and your partner fucks you over, you lose points too.
The only advantage I could think of in a double team is having each player being a character specialist. That’s pretty much moot if you know what the hell you’re doing in this game though. Just my thoughts >.<
There is nothing that’s really bothering me when it comes to the mechanics of the game. So far I’m liking it, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed with the way Cammy feels in this game.
My only issues with the game right now are only obvious things like sound constantly cutting out and sometimes matches feel sluggish (the game itself not the players). I’ve also been getting random disconnections while waiting in endless lobbies even though the connection is fine. The thing that probably annoys me the most is when I get this weird glitch where I attack and the opponent blocks but the game will show the character in hit-stun. Sounds like they just get hit but the game then changes mid-animation and shows them blocking.
It’s almost as if the game is doing a rollback and is showing what would have happened if my attack was successful but it wasn’t. I guess it’s kind of similar to 3SO when the announcer says K.O. when you are about to die even though you probably parried the attack.
For the people that don’t like it because it seems like just another SF4 I suggest trying out some of the Tekken characters, they are refreshing and fun.
You’re kidding, right? Hit confirm into Cross Assault can end a round instantly if you have 3 bars. It takes a little practice, but goddamn is it scary.
I am not going to call you a scrub…but mashing short into chain launcher death combo is sometimes a better option. It’s a high level tactic that you might not be aware of yet. Mashing jab will only get you so far at the pro level, sometimes you have to mix it up with a mashed short as well. :tup:
I’m not going to complain about a character or the gameplay that’s supposed to be in the game. SFxT is a huge dissapointment. It’s an unfinished rushed product. I’m not going to buy any DLC until they fix/complete the game.
They promised co-op 1p 2p vs online play on XBOX and ps3. Suddenly, a few days before the release they announce that the xbox 360 version won’t have this feature. They even use a lame excuse for it. The infrastructure on xbl… Seriously? MK, CoD, Castle crashers etc allows two players on one console to play online and they claim that it’s impossible to do. Problems with gamertags, why not use guest accounts Like gamertag(1) and gamertag(2).
The online gameplay. The freakin sfx aren’t working online correctly. They said that it’s a flaw in the structure of the netcode itself and it’s really hard to fix. They might need to use an entire new netcode if it wants to work ( new netcode in SUPERsfxt hmmm…?) because changing the current netcode is quite hard to do. And why didn’t they just fix it before the release? Maybe they didn’t test online properly or they rushed the game and were to lazy to fix it.
Fix these two for god sake.
About DLC on the disc itself. Capcom is just screwing us over. But if the game was working as it should,( the game itself is really good but it’s just not working as it should) I would buy the dlc. Even if it was already on the disc because they gave me a great game as they freakin’ promised.
Nuff said, Capcom finish the freakin’ game before releasing it and even start working/selling DLC.
Rolento’s who only know jab > lp patriot circle… im not great at this game… but i’m up to 3k bp, I came up against a 6k bp player with Rolento on point.
He literally had no idea how to attack my Ken that wasn’t jab > patriot circle… no pogo… poor cross ups… I just ended up blowing through it repeatedly with the alpha counter and dancing all over his beaten body… I probably used it 5/6 times over the course of the whole match!
As a charge character player i feel they could’ve done a better job by equipping guys like Bison and Balrog with some new moves so they can keep up with this fast paced game. Crouching a lot gets you into so much trouble, and sometimes i feel hopeless with some of these long ass block strings and resets

GO DAMN… im so frikkin mad right now. second day of playin online. first day was awesome, lost to people that were better than me beat the shit out of those that werent. input delay was 2-3 frames max and game speed was around 90%.
today i just lost about 10 or more in a row, input delay is about 5-6 frames and the game is running at a snails pace… like 60% of its normal speed. its horrible… feels like sf4 netcode all of a sudden. slow ass game and playing underwater… PLUS losing to players that im obviously better than and lag making players better than what they are. i beat these strategies down on my first day and now all of a sudden im losing to them? BULLSHIT. something happened to the netcode or my isp is ass. god i hate this game underwater. cant hitconfirm, cant AA, CANT REVERSAL! im using akuma and i get either nothing or an ex fireball when im tryng to reversal teleport… it feels so underwater that i dont know when to input my reversal on wakeup… this is complete and total garbage.
got up to 1300 bp on my first day and now im at 596… this sucks. this is bullshit. this game is ass, i guess maybe the whiners got what they wanted and its now back on input delay bullshit, maybe not, but it sure feels like playing online sf4 now.
nah, I had a match tonight (1 match mind you) that reminded of sf4 netcode. hella input delay and the game was sluggish. what tripped me out is that the lobby said dude was 3-4 bars.
